I finally found a doctor who is willing to help me.

This doctor is strictly for the work comp system, he is a non surgical doctor,and could have cause my family member his life if he did not get neck surgery, he told a lie and said that nothing was wrong with my family member. Doctor Katz should be ashamed of his self and not be able to practice any more., but don't worry karma wil pay you back and you will be judge for not caring about your patients .you only care about money, one day you might be on American greed,with your dirty low down self. People do not go to this doctor please,if you want to live. The love of money not people.

The office note about my appt was wrong. Said the injuries I sustained in a car crash were not consistent with my back issue. Really? Was he there, in my car when i got slammed from behind? He didn't listen to the details, drew a conclusion based on his yrs in practice, then dictated an office note. I will never see him again nor will i ever recommend him to anyone.

Actually, the issue I went to see him for is worse after the injection which was terribly painful.

Dr. Katz is engaging, knowledgeable, experienced, and easy to talk to. He answers questions truthfully and understandably.

Nothing personal against the doc, but his office is complete chaos. They scheduled me as a first time patient in just a few days, to get my insurance info in the system and start billing, but to get a follow-up appointment to find out my test results would be two months? Also, you can't get ANYONE on the phone. All calls go to the voicemail of Nina Walters, his nurse. You may get a callback the next day if you are lucky but you had better be waiting by the phone to answer it or you have to leave another message for another callback. What doctors office doesn't answer the phone ever? This is insane. He is either WAY overbooked, or understaffed. I still have no idea what happened with my MRI results because I can't get any information from them. Next call is to the insurance company..

He just passes you off to another Dr. I feel he only has experience to handle mild to moderate issues. If you have severe problems, he seems to be more interested in getting you to do Platelet rich plasma with one of his colleagues. It is NOT covered by insurance. I did follow up with this to find out it's 700.00 and up depending on how good of insurance you have. If you are having mild problems he make work very well for you. If not, I wouldn't waste more weeks of agonizing pain. Good luck, hope this helps your decision.
