Dr. Randy Wallace Smith, MD

Dr. Smith delivered my first baby and was the best. I've since moved and am so sad he won't be able to continue being my ob/gyn. He is patient and takes so much time to talk with you about any concerns you have. My husband came with me to my appointments and he included him in all our discussions and took the time to learn not only about me but us as a family. On delivery day, he continued to provide not only great medical service but met my parents and family members and shared in the excitement- even hugged my mom and asked her if she was ready to be a grandma. Such a kind-hearted man and skilled doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Smith's since he came to College Station to practice. His staff is always courteous and polite and makes me feel comfortable throughout the visit. His personal attention to me as his patient is one of courteousness and care, and I have spoken with others to whom I have recommended him who have had the same experience. He took the time to meet with my husband and me together when surgery was required, explaining the procedure and easing both our concerns regarding it. While I know that he is very busy with many patients, he always gives me his undivided attention during the visit, taking the time to make me feel as though I am just as important as the rest of his patients. His staff is remarkable, always friendly and seem to enjoying their work place. I heartily recommend him to any female looking for a physician who will give her his complete attention and care and be honest and upfront about her medical needs.

Dr. Smitth is knowledgeable, open-minded and compassionate-- unfortunately, his head nurse has none of these attributes. She acts tired of patients and their concerns, and, more importantly, she asumes the the role of physician, jumping-to-conclusions about medical conditions and resents questions about her "diagnoses"...scary, because she has worked with Dr. Smith a long time and he seems to respect her opinion.

You cannot ask for better than Dr. Smith. I had a high-risk pregnancy, and he took every precaution possible. He is very caring, informative & professional. Truly the BEST!!
