Dr. Randall Scott Taylor, MD

Working with Dr. Randy Taylor has easily been the best experience I have ever had with a doctor. I've seen him 4-5 times now and had him perform a septum surgery so I've had a few experiences over the last 6 months. Dr. Taylor really does care about his patients and invests time to explain to you as many times as needed what is needed along with the risks. His bedside manner is 2nd to none. I actually enjoy seeing the guy when I go in. Great Dr! By the way, after 45 years of breathing through my mouth only, the post surgery results of it have been amazing.

I had extensive sinus surgery. Dr. Taylor is not only a skilled surgeon, but he is very caring as well.

I was extremely thankful that my pediatrician recommended Dr Taylor to me. As a first time mom it is not easy finding out that your 11 month old needed to have ear tube surgery. He walked us through everything and told us exactly what to expect. I must have had 50 questions at my appointment with him and he walked me through each one. Everything and everyone in the process was top notch and very informative. They made it as fun as possible for our little girl. When I found out that my 2nd daughter needed tubes around 9 months old I was running to Dr Taylors office. I knew what a difference the tubes would make. My kids started to talk and had better center of balance for walking. They became happier children that slept better b/c they felt better and did not have ear infections and fluid behind their ears. My 3 year old (first daughter to have the surgery) had her tubes fall out in the last year and she has not been on any antibiotics since having her tubes with Dr Taylor. I would… swear by this surgery if Dr Taylor thinks is it right for your child and I would highly recommend Dr Taylor.

after lukewarm treatment (hard to schedule, etc) at Children's Hospital, our pediatrician recommended Dr. Taylor for our son's needed septoplasty after years of sleep apnea problems. Dr. Taylor was excellent! He took his time to explain the surgery, and took special care to make my son feel at ease about it. The surgery was an IMMEDIATE success and the results were outstanding. He was approachable, and friendly and very knowledgeable. He was available post-op over the weekend when we had questions about pain meds and his follow up was great. Not sure why a few other reviewers had problems; we really loved Dr. Taylor and would highly recommend him to others, even pediatric patients.

I had been seeing Dr. Taylor for some time before deciding to have my septum straightened and tonsils removed after several infections a month. At first all was great but when I started having trouble with my sinuses again he was very quick too send me off to see another Dr. Instead of spending the time to do actual diagnosis of my problem I was pawned off on another Dr. to clean up the mess. I feel like more time should have been spent trying to figure out a clear plan of treatment instead of just saying you need to see this other Dr. I get the impression Dr. Taylor doesn't have the experience when it comes to complicated cases and does the easy stuff but refers complicated patients to other doctors. Not a good practice.

Everyone in my family was born with a deviated septum (genetic). I was the last of seven children to have it fixed (at age 60). My primary care doctor recommended Dr. Taylor and now I know why. My surgical procedure took less than one hour (total time to and from home was 2 1/2 hours), I felt no pain whatsoever (needed no pain pills)and after having the plastic "straw" tubes removed (after five days) was able to breath though my nose for the first time I can remember. Thank you Dr. Taylor, even though you wear colorful shoes.

My 6 yr old daughter was seen by him to get a tonsillectomy. He really did a great job spending time with us getting us both prepared for the surgery. He did such an amazing job with minimal blood loss. Afterwards, he was so caring, etc. I would highly recommend him to everyone! He made this experience just wonderful!

Dr Taylor always takes the time to listen to my issues and gets me in on short notice if I get sick.

I recently had a nasal surgery performed by Dr. Taylor. His gracious understanding of my apprehension and his careful explanation of my condition was not only comforting for me but endear him to both my husband and my self. I am very grateful for his honesty in presenting the possible scenarios regarding my condition and for his caring nature.I cannot say enough about his professionalism. He told me what would hurt and what would not. He is a bright man and the kind of person anyone would appreciate managing their medical care and needs. I appreciate the kindness and skill that went into the time he has spent on my care and treatment.

Dr. Taylor did a fine job with the procedure, but the follow up is non-existent. You would think he would call at least one time after performing a procedure on a child. No. The office staff is useless, and we can't event get in after an infection formed as a result of the surgery. We were prescribed a medication that's not being made anymore. We finally decided to go back to our old doc to clean up the mess. All this guy cares about is getting in getting paid and getting out.
