Dr. Rania Miriam Johnson, MD

I was under her care in 2016 while attending SJSU. First of all, she didn’t do advocate for me at all when I was struggling in my classes so I ended up being disqualified from SJSU. During our last meeting, she tried to have me committed to a psych ward even though I did not indicate that I was a threat to myself or anyone else. I know exactly what I said and there was absolutely no reason to try to do that to me. She knew I had a prior experience of this same nature and that I felt extremely betrayed because of it, so she does the exact same thing? What a professional. I was not taken to the hospital as it was determined by 3 other people that it was not necessary. I still think about this event often because of how traumatizing it was to be betrayed by someone I confided in and thought I could trust when I already had trust issues from previous trauma. Frankly, Rania should not be a practicing psychiatrist with that kind of negligence.
