Excellent surgeon. Great bedside manner. Really cares for his patients. Takes the time to listen and explain everything to you!

Not sure if it was a communication issue coming from different generations and backgrounds but just disappointed overall.

This man greets you with a smile that lights up a room, shows his care and concerns. Genuinely makes you feel comfortable and well cared for. Explains everything. His staff reflects his personality which makes you know you are in good hands. He is amazingly wonderful. THANK YOU

Absolutely one of the best!!! Went to see Dr. AlSamkari after being referred by a physiatrist at MVH. Dr. AlSamkari takes his time to explain your condition with potential results. I had numbness and tingling arms/hands, but when I woke up one day, I couldn’t get dressed until 20+ minutes later! I’m only 46, but found out after an EMG, I needed a carpel plus a cubital release (pinched ulnar nerve) at my left elbow and I can say 3 months after surgery, my arm has never felt better! Not everyone will have the same results, but being I had no feeling and can now feel, I’m ecstatic. He’s a wonderful doctor and has a kind staff! Now here’s a few pointers... For pre-op, make sure you clean the wrist area and under elbow/arm with pre-surgery cleanser. And NO lotion. After surgery, drink LOTS of OJ (or take your vitamin C), change dressings as directed and massage Vit E oil after stitches are removed to prevent scarring. Mine healed so nicely, I can hardly see the tiny scar on my… wrist/hand 3 months later. My elbow is still fading nicely, as my skin is much lighter there. I do want to add, be careful with your arm as the nerve block from the anesthesiologist can last longer than 3 days. My insurance didn’t cover a decent cast to hold my arm close (pick yours out before surgery as you may be too loopy to decide) to my body and I looked down to find my “dead” arm out of my sling a few times scared that I hurt it. All in all, I need to get the right side done when my schedule permits and I am definitely trusting my other limb in Dr. AlSamkari’s HANDS!

Best doctor I have ever had. Took plenty of time to explain in detail about my injury, surgery, options and my recovery. Unlike most doctors I have have, he did not blow off my questions or my concerns. I firmly believe this man is the reason I have any functionality in my hand after my accident. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I had my middle finger on right hand slammed in my front door chopping it off under the fist knuckle. could not be reattached. Only thing left of it was the bone .I cant take pain well I had panic attacks while in the office not only did he sit with me and calm me down he took his time to make me feel very comfortable. not only him but his nurse was just as friendly and helpful with any questions I had. no wonder his nick name is Dr. Awesome (that's what I call him to any of my friends and family) He has earned that name by going the extra mile for every patient he meets. these days excellent doctors like himself are very hard to find! So thank you for making a very difficult and painful situation not so unpleasant with your kindness.

Dr. Alsamkari was wonderful is every way. I had surgery after a freak mishap with my dog. From the moment he came into the exam room I knew I was in excellent hands (no pun intended). His bedside manner, skill as a surgeon, explaining every step put him head and shoulders above the rest! A truly wonderful doctor and human being!

Dr. Alsamkari was wonderful to work with. I had bilateral ulnar nerve issues -he was compassionate and knowledgeable. So much so that my son is also a patient - he has a complicated issue in his wrist - grateful that Dr. Alsamkari did not rush him into a risky surgery - helped him weigh his long term options. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Rannie Alsamkari!!!!
