Dr. Raouf Fawzy Maoud, MD

He went on vacation and didn't refill my sleeping med.and I don't want to take several trips to clinic to get a refill.

I have found Dr. Maoud to be extremely intelligent and knowledgeable in his field. He doesn't hesitate to send me to a specialist , if he sees any need.

I found Dr. Maoud about 10 yrs ago when I was diagnosed with a low thyroid. I used him till I moved out of state. I am moving back to the area in a few short weeks and depending on where I will live, if close enough I will return to Dr. Maoud.

In winter 2015 My skin was itching so badly I went to his office. He prescribed a medication for scabies. It did not go away after all home treatments, continued use of this poison on my skin. So went back and he prescribed more. At this point I abanded my bedroom for months and was sleeping on my couch. It finally went away. Because of his errigant attitude towards me when I to him that spring for dizziness (ear infection). I discontinued using him for a doctor. Winter 2016 , I came up with the same itching problem andy new doctor sent me to a dermatologist who gave me creams for dry skin from winter heating. So I put all those poisons on my skin for months because in the errigance of his statement ..."you know I am a doctor" when I asked him to check to make sure his diagnosis was correct. Do not use this doctor if you want to be heathy.

I have been seeing dr. . maoud for several years. I find him to be very professional, thorough, and caring. he addresses any abnormal labs, and takes measures to remedy any abnormality. he is one of the few drs. (and I have seen many, because i'm a retired nurse) who seem to genially care about their patients. I would recommend him to my family and friends.

This doctor doesn't care about his patients and is more concerned with how many people he has waiting in the waiting room.

Because he takes the extra step Dr Maoud diagnosed my husbands Hep C. No other doctor took that step to see if there was a reason for his liver panel to be slightly off. This was before the news was talking about baby boomers needing to get checked just in case.

Extremely condescending and not one ounce of empathy. I have never had a physician put me in tears. I was so devastated by the way he treated me I stormed out of the office and slammed the door. Not at all my character
