VERY RUDE STAFF. Teresa tried to force me to give my ssn over the phone for a TriWest (VA) referral appointment. Never had to do that before, didn't have to do it for any other Triwest appt. If a doctor lets such a person represent him, I probably don't want to go to that doctor. So I filed a complaint through Triwest and looking for a different referral doctor.

this is my fourth time trying to leave a review keeps kicking me out long story short call me back in 6 months after having a colonoscopy said they found cancer cells needed to do a biopsy he did not do the box and he just removed the pilots but didn't tell me he didn't do it kept waiting for results never got it long story short the nursing all he could tell by looking at it that he wasn't concerned just removed it he is not God and I am still bleeding do not recommend him at all! office staff rude nurse with listen I come out biopsy in a fetal position I was sick told her do not give me Zofran I am highly allergic my daughter was there as a witness she gave it to me anyway they end up having to keep me I could not quit throwing up I had told her it makes me even sicker oh no that's what it's for I said not for me it makes it worse I end up having to stay in the hospital I wouldn't give this office or doctor a one-star definitely do not recommend!!

I have some very serious health problems. I made an appointment with Dr Rusynyk because he has been my gastro doctor for a couple of years. When I arrived for an appointment and they informed me for the first time they no longer accept my insurance but they would be happy to give me a cash discount. I wasted my time and gas and still have issues that I was trying to get addressed before a bypass surgery. THANKS FOR MAKING MY LIFE MORE DIFFICULT

The best Doctor experience that I’ve had for sure .

This was possibly the worst experience I have ever had in a physician's office. When you make the initial appointment they tell you that you are making an appointment with the doctor. However, the first person you will see if the scheduler, if for a colonoscopy. The only reason I even saw the PA was because I insisted. The receptionists are rude and do not make eye contact. You are a "paycheck" not a patient - they make you sign a form turning over your credit card information or making a $200 deposit before you can be seen. If you cannot do this, they will cancel your appointment. On day of the procedure, Dr. Rusynyk does not make much contact beyond walking back with you, barely introduces himself and does not see you afterward. SEE SOMEONE ELSE.

I have been seeing the doctor on and off since 2010 I am very very happy and satisfied with him and now I have met his PA and she too is so compassionate. The entire staff is friendly and helpful.

Bowel prep a little difficult. Procedure easy with first class hospital help.

Great Doctor with a great bedside manner

This office was rude and condescending. The Doctor had his office attack me for not getting a colonoscopy sooner and attacked me for not having genetics testing done. I had colon cancer that would not have been found the year prior with a colonoscopy and I should have th right to choose whether or not I have my genes tested. The staff mentioned he was double booked and he did not have time to review my records. In addition, he refused to answer a question about my ostomy, stating that was for the surgeon, even though it was a digestive issue. I will NEVER use him again.
