Dr. Rashmi Chandra

I told Dr. Chandra that I was walking 5000-12000 steps a day at a 17-minute mile pace and limiting my calorie intake to 1200-1500 calories of lean proteins, vegetables, and whole grains with no simple carbs. I asked why I was not losing any weight. She said, "You need to get some exercise and watch what you eat." I told her that even though my A1c has been withing the normal range, I often feel faint and weak after I eat and that I would like to have the 2-hour glucose test. She said, "No. This is America; we follow guidelines." When I suffer from painful stiffness in the back left side of my neck, probably arthritis connected to two falls last year which injured my neck, I also find a tonsillolith, or tonsil stone, on my left tonsil. Dr. Chandra said they "are not related" and that the tonsil stone is an indication of "serious infection" and therefore "ignore it," I assume because I was not manifesting any other indications of serious infection. While one condition may not… be a cause of the other, I am concerned that they may both be related to something else...which should be of concern. When Dr. Chandra called in a prescription refill and gave the wrong dosage, she defended herself to me by saying, "I wasn't me."

Dr. Chandra's front office has the worst service I have ever experienced. They are the worst. I would never recommend her as a doctor. I wish I could give her less than one star.

Apparently I am not the only one, she told me to lose weight to solve my problem as well, but I had literally just had a baby, and was breastfeeding. She prescribed me medicine and would not check to see if it was okay to take while breastfeeding, and when I asked she would give me other doctors to call. I was sick with the flu, and I know it was the flu because I had only been that sick once or twice, well the flu didn't seem to ease off so I made an appointment, and she said I had sinusitis. I mean wow, really though? When trying to find out my condition she would ask me questions like she already knew the answer. Other than her, her front staff & nurses were very kind and great at their job.

The front desk and the nurses were awesome. I was dealing with a few problems, her response to one of my issues is I was fat and I needed to move. I already knew that. Sent me to get lab work and that very first day that I saw her. She see you back in four months. Four months? She didn't take time to make notes of my issues, her nurse was the one recording my issues in the computer. The doctor didnt even look in the computer. Worst experience with this doctor!

Needs to work on bedside manager.......no one to cover for her when she is away. No follow calls. Staff is good
