Don't waste your time and money...he doesn't care about his patients. There's another cardiologist nearby and he's excellent, I finally got the right treatment. Please read all the reviews, everything I've read so far is spot on...

If you're considering Dr. Ahuja as your cardiologist, look at the Google reviews. .. 1. The waiting time is absurd and disrespectful...every time I went I experienced a 1.5 - 2 hour delay. At my first appointment I was told to be there 30 min earlier...I arrived a 2:30 and left at 5:45pm completely exhausted. No one apologized, explained the cause or delay or told me if I'd rather reschedule. 2. I was diagnosed at the hospital with a chronic and systemic condition by a cardiologist. Dr. Ahuja just ordered a lot of testing (all done conveniently at his practice), didn't bother to show me the results just kept saying "normal" but put me on medication for my obvious cardiac issue. I had questions about my recently diagnosed condition, he said I must have "stress and anxiety", kept yawning while staring at his PC monitor while I tried to show him my inflamed hands and feet, but he didn't bother to even look at me. I told him I was worried that the first medication he prescribed… might have cause that – no response. I'm glad I had someone with me that was able to witness his rude and unprofessional behavior because I was in disbelief. I left that visit in tears. 3. I requested my medical records, signed the release form and was told that I could have everything ready in 72 hours. Well, a month has passed and I'm still waiting despite multiple calls. 4. I tried to give him and his practice the benefit of the doubt, but I honestly feel they don't care about me. I've met some of his patients in the waiting room and they all have similar concerns– most of them are elderly and it breaks my heart that they feel their health concerns are not even acknowledged. I hope I find a compassionate, caring cardiologist soon. Best of luck to everyone looking for one.

Ratan K. Ahuja and his staff have been wonderful preparing a procedure that was much needed on my leg, his staff were very accommodating to help me feel comfortable, lord knows as with any procedure we all get a little nervous, well I was more than that, and one of his assistants Leah had the most wonderful bedside manner! I have to do my other leg soon, safe to say I know i'll be in good hands!

I found him to be very personable, friendly,knowledgeable, answered all of our questions. There was no long wait time, his staff was excellent, with check in to ECHOS to getting records faxed from my mom’s primary care doctor. His office is beautiful he has most any machine he might need or want my mom goes back in two days for a heart scan. We found my mom has AFIB but he put her on medicine right away. If your looking for a cardiologist that gives you time then certainly book your appointment with him, you couldn’t ask for a better doctor.

DO NOT GO UNLESS YOU HAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO WASTE. Wish I had read the reviews first. If I could give 0 stars I would. Went on 2 separate occasions. First time they took me back and then informed me the doc had to leave. They rescheduled for a 10:10 appointment. They took me back pretty quick. Waited in a room till 11:30 without anyone checking on me or doc showing up. So walked out to the desk and told them I was leaving. They said doc could see me now he had been dealing with another upset patient. I said no thanks, the doc is to busy to take care of his patients. This place is such a joke. DO NOT GO UNLESS YOU HAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO WASTE

Dr. Ahuja is the first regular cardiologist I have used. He diagnosed my afib problem and took immediate steps to treat it. When meds did not work I was sent to Dr. Diaz for an ablation. Dr. Ahuja's prompt decision to send me to Dr. Diaz was instrumental in my care and recovery. Since the ablation Dr. Ahuja has seen me regularly and tested me fully when needed. The stress tests, echocardiograms and sonograms have been expertly performed by the very fine office staff. I highly recommend Dr. Ahuja's practice for your cardiac needs.

do not put your life in his hands he does not know what he is doing nor does he care, his only interest is financial. He orders the same tests repeatedly then never reads the results. I had atrial fibrillation for over a year and he refused to recognize it. even after hospitalization and a follow up visit to his office. I was put on a channel blocker by another heart doctor and he wanted to change it to a beta blocker. I have kidney disease, diabetes and lung disease all of which would be exacerbated by the beta blocker. He is a self absorbed egotist i would have done better with a witch doctor

The wait times time are unbearable. My blood pressure is always through the roof when checked because of the stress from sitting int hat room so long. The average wait time has been at least 30 minutes past the appopintment time.

I would recommend this doctor and his staff to anyone. Very thorough, honest, kind and supportive. His staff is the greatest. Give him five stars !!
