I went to see Dr Raul Alvarez after suffering a Pulmonary Embolism. I went to him for guidance and treatment of why my clot occurred. After only 1 meeting with him, he sent me a letter indicating that I should go find another Dr. I was shocked. I went to him looking for help and he gave me the cold shoulder. No understanding why at all.

Dr. Alvarez has a very humorous and caring bed-side manner. He genuinely cares about his patients. He is honest, yet kind.

First visit with him. He did take time to go over my condition but during the conversation he was very arrogant and rude to a question I asked. I felt verbally attacked by him. Short time later my orthopedic called to have me off xraleto for a day or two. (very routine before procedure). Was told I had to come in for an office visit first. For what ? To say .. go off xraelto for a day? Just an income manufacturing visit. Obviously it's about the money.

I think the whole staff communicates and is very helpful. The doctor took his time and explained test results and was very caring. I was scared to have to go to this type of doctor but I left feeling confident that I was going to be cared for and taken care of.

Dr. Alvarez has treated our son since he was 28 yrs. of age. He is now 44, and continues management treatment with Dr. Alvarez. We are very grateful that he has been part of our lives.

I've been a patiet of Dr. Alvarez for several years and have found him to be consistentyl excellent in his treatment. I am especially pleased with his care and attention to diagnostics and follow through. He makes me feel like I am his only special patient.

Dr. Alvarez is a GREAT doctor I have been seeing him for a little over 3 years now. He always covers all of the bases to be on the safe said. Plus he is really caring, he actually cares about what happens to you.
