Raul Castillo, MD, received his medical degree from Ponce School of medicine in Puerto Rico and completed his fellowship training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Castillo is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology, and has held numerous posts at prestigious professional and academic institutions. He was honored with the ASCO Clinical Trial Participation Award from the Florida Hospital (now AdventHealth) Cancer Institute in 2006 for his involvement with cancer clinical trials. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he sees patients at his AdventHealth Medical Group offices in Altamonte Springs and East Orlando.

Dr. Castillo is the reason I am in remission. He is kind, compassionate, an very through in his explanations of my care. He calls or texts me immediately with all tests results even if it is on the weekend. I can reach him through texts. Never had a doctor that was so accessible.

Dr Castillo saved my Husband's life, very caring and compassionate. When my husband was hospitalized Dr Castillo would go to see him even on a Sunday morning, and was always very clear informing us about what was going on. His medical care has been excellent and the personnel of the office from the Front desk and the Office manager, to the nurses and labs, all are very professional. The only complaint we have is why there are no more Drs like Castillo in the world? Forever grateful!

Dr. Castillo and his staff from Jonathon to Natalie to everyone there. When you are hurting it is so nice to see a kind caring face and caring voice. I was helped in everyway possible. I would definately recommend Dr. Castillo to anyone who needs a caring healing touch.

Dr. Castillo is a thorough diagnostician. Very patient and I respect his conservative approach to treatment in my particular case. His assessment and the outcome of treatment was excellent. After several years of going from specialist to specialist and having to undergo several unnecessary procedures, it took only one visit with Dr. Castillo to get me the diagnosis and treatment I needed. It has now been 3 years and all is well. I would also like to commend his professional and courtesy staff for their care.
