Dr. Raul Emilio Espinosa

My husband (who has Marfans Syndrome) was assigned to Dr. Espinosa two years ago after his long-term cardiologist retired. We can only say very positive things about him. He has spent a lot of his own time consulting with other doctors to ensure my husband receives the best care possible. With this being said, expect a long wait - the two recent times my husband has seen him, it's ranged between an hour and a half to four hours. Dr. Espinosa does not rush from patient to patient and takes ample time with you during your appointment to answer your questions. He is patient, polite and caring, and more doctors should learn that from him.

This heart specialist scared my mom to death, by saying she has a life threatening heart valve disease and recommended surgery. Good thing we decided to get a second opinion back in Boston. This man is scary and should not practic medicine

My father has been very frustrated with his care with this doctor. At first, he seemed very friendly but as time went by my dad deteriorated and he did nothing. He is always away and not available. I will not recommend this cardio doc at all.
