Dr. Raul Dario Isern JR., MD

This is not the doctor for you if all you want is some medication and not actually work through a treatment plan. I love that about Dr. Isern. I explained all my concerns with medications and brought up any concerns I had at all times throughout the month to the doctor and he has taken time to explain the treatment plan and options available to me. This helps me because I have insurance but they don't always care what the doctor prescribes as they want you to take whatever is most financially beneficial for them. Dr. Isern will help with these insurance issues and any other issues I have had with treatments. I am doing so much better since I started seeing Dr. Isern. I highly recommend him all the time!

Not someone I would call a mental health professional by any means. In my first meeting with him he told me that I didn’t seem like “a crazy person” as a sort of compliment? That took me so aback, I immediately realized I wasn’t speaking with someone who I would confide anything with. I wouldn’t recommend him at all, very unprofessional.

My son has been a patient of Dr. Isern for several years now, and he takes his time to understand what’s going on and he listens. He’s the real deal that’s not just going to write a RX and send you on your way as some physicians do. He wants you to be well!

He is an amazing doctor! He remembers my son and talks to him like he’s a person not just a little kid. He listens to me. He has talked to me over the phone and even called the pharmacy for me! When we tried a new medicine and it went really bad he immediately listened to me and put my son on a new one. He spends at least 25 minutes alone with us each and every time! (5 visits so far). He has even personally helped me find coupons for medicine!!!! I don’t see how anyone could not like him. He genuinely cares!!!

Horrible!!! Has no respect for anyone’s time. Keep you waiting and waiting and waiting even when he is not in with another patient

Both my sons had problems that showed up early. My natural son had Asperger's Syndrone before it was well-known and my adopted son had mild Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. School was tough on both of them and they both struggled with depression and some suicidal ideation. He helped them to understand what was happening to them and he helped my husband to understand how to deal with and react to the boys' behavior. Dr. Isern was a blessing to our family.

Rude, inconsiderate of other's time. Arrives over an hour late nearly every time. (3 years). Doesn't work with family and patient to find best option. His way or no way. Yells at children with mental challenges rather than being the professional and talking with them and treating them kindly.
