Dr. Raul Ari Mirande, MD

While Dr. Mirande's manner with his patients and his knowledge seem to both be extremely good, his skill in choosing office staff is sadly quite lacking. I have had calls go unreturned by his staff, the office manager flat out refused to mail me instructions for a procedure I had scheduled and was condescending in all the phone conversations I have had with his office. His staff ignores you when you walk in, acts like they are being bothered if you have a question and will disappear into the back for inordinately long periods of time leaving patients who wish to check in or out waiting at the front desk wondering if they are going to be taken care of. Then to top it off they also will lock the front door early so they can get out of the office, have erratic office hours and will tell you to your face that you are mistaken when you confront them about leaving early. Like we don't know when we were at their front door trying to get in...... All in all, while Dr. Mirande himself may be… a good Dr., his staff is so bad that I will drive the three hours to Bend Oregon and see a Dr there rather than see him again in the future.

I underwent surgery earlier today, performed by Dr. Mirande, and I am extremely pleased with how it was carried out. I had never been operated on or experienced general anesthesia before, but due to his personable and reassuring manner, as well as that of the excellent staff which attended to me at the hospital, the entire process was very efficient and calming. For a frequently anxious individual like me, that meant a lot. Eight hours later and having taken only a moderate dose of acetaminophen, I am in little discomfort and believe this is a good indication of his skill. I have already recommended Dr. Mirande to my family.

I have been seeing Dr Mirande for over 6 years and have had several sergery's by him I travel several hours for his care! I trust him with my life! he sure has saved it enough times. He will be my doctor for life no matter where i live!He is more then worth the trip to Klamath Falls Oregon!
