Dr Ramos has been our family doctor for over 30 years. He treats his patients like they are all very special people which to him I’m sure we are. He explains things to you in a way that you understand if you do not understand he will explain it until you do he’s kind and very soft-spoken to me he’s just an amazing person and an amazing doctor could not ask to be in better hands.

I have been a patient for nearly 20 years. When i first sought care it was just a check up and he was a great doctor. Now he is little more and i mean very very little more than an online doctor. No longer a real doctor. I asked him a question about flu treatment and his response was just dont get the flu. Four times i asked him "what if?'. He did not want to be bothered. I wanted to know how he would treat the symptoms (i.e. aches pains and lack of uninterupted sleep). He treated me like i was there for a rolling script of Pain killers. He could seemigly not care less about a patients well being. Seemed to only be concerned about the inconvenience attached to prescribing a 3 day sleep aid. He treated me like i was an 18 year old high school dropout looking for refillable pain killers. His nose was in his rollaround laptop the whole exam. Took my blood pressure even though the staff had taken it 10 minutes earlier. I thought it was significant that my blood pressure had… risen to the upper limits of normal from perfectly normal just minutes earlier. Also I had an issue with my septum that I had mentioned at the beginning of the exam. As he was walking out of the exam room I had to remind him to exam my nose. Within a half second he says wow you need to see a nose doctor. Computer print out indicated three discussions of treatments for prior conditions that did not occur. As i said this physician is very little more than an online doctor. I dont know if Sacred Heart has an audit system to check what type of care their doctors provide but I would suggest implementing one particularly for this physician. As far as the wait time, i have never had a problem wth time in the waiting room. And the staff is top grade. Always pleasant, always friendly and always helpful.

I waited for an hour to get my vitals then another 30 minutes to see the doctor, i had scheduled my appointment 30 days in advance. He seemed unconcerned with what i had to say.

My First visit was so quick, unless you have been his patient for 10 years he is not easy to talk. He has an overall stern look at people and makes it difficult to talk to him. He seems to be on a timer ten minutes or less weather your done or not. His staff is kind and courteous and the only reason I still see him.

You receive excellent care from Doctor and Staff! Awesome group of medical staff. I would highly recommend Dr. Raul Ramos! Staff very courteous and patient with you no matter how busy they are and always have "smile"!

Will not be returning. He' s polite and wasn't outright insulting or anything. But as soon as he came into the room, he had already decided what my complaint was, rather than listening to my concerns. I came for several specific issues, and he just ignored them (saying there's nothing you can do about it) minus the easiest one to solve. Was more focused on filling in the checkboxes on his computer than on the actual pt. Wait time was 2 hours.
