Dr. Rodriguez is brilliant. Even when I want to give up on myself he never gives up on me. He always has something new or different to try. All my other doctors pushed shock treatment on me and for personal reasons I always declined. They told me we tried everything else and there is nothing else they can do for me. I have major depression, PTSD and anxiety and I'm medication resistant. Dr. Rodriguez took on my case determined and sure he can help me even knowing what the other doctors said. He is so smart, knows exactly what he's doing and always listens to what i have to say. He has a wide range of treatments that my other psychiatrists never even heard of before. I cannot recommend him highly enough. This psychiatrist saves lives. He saved mine.

Dr. Rodriguez and the Delray Center for Healing saved my life. The team is compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional. Specifically, Dr. Rodriguez, works on treating all aspects of your life and not just the symptoms. I had tried many other types of treatment and seen countless doctors until finding this place. For those of you who are into details, like me, I wanted to add some. When I… started my treatment at the Delray Center my OCD was very severe, I had a lot of anxiety and was highly depressed. I'm now understanding a lot of my depression was connected to my OCD. For those of you who don't have OCD it can really consume your life, giving you lots of anxiety and stress. Dr. Rodriguez put me into TMS and ketamine treatment for both my depression and my OCD. I had never heard of TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) by BrainsWay until a few months ago, but it really fit my needs. I've been through several medicines in the past and they never did work or had too many side effects. TMS uses a magnetic field to stimulate specific areas in your brain. Each session is about 15 to 20 minutes. You do have to work on challenging your obsessions and compulsions, and the more you do this the better the treatment works. To me it is millions of times better than the side effects from the medicine. The change was gradual at first, but in a few weeks I began to notice the difference. Over the course of treatment my symptoms significantly improved. During this time I started ketamine treatment, this paired with the TMS really helped me to manage the anxiety from OCD and the depression. This is a huge change in my ability to function daily. As a result, this has truly changed my life.

Dr. Rodriguez runs an excellent psychiatric practice. It's nice that he provides a lot of extra services and thinks outside the box when it comes to treating things like severe depression and anxiety.

He may be a good Dr but his bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. His attitude was overly arrogant, not just on one occassion. You don't tell your patient that they need to be "less frustrated" with your office when there have been multiple issues and that "things in life don't always go smoothly"... This office as a whole needs to be more clear & upfront with their patients as to expectations from both sides and what will go on during their treatment; to come in & get new info each visit is simply not acceptable! Almost walked out for the second time for good! I'm less than impressed.

I just thought Dr. Rodriguez possible had a poor bedside manner. Then I convinced myself that maybe he just does not have a personality; maybe he has a mental illness himself. But then I stopped making excuses for this negative doctor and realized I have rights. As a patient, I have a right to be treated with dignity and not the disgust that this doctor treated me with. He acted like he didn’t believe my reasons for being in his office. I guess the $100 deposit and payment of $300 before I saw him was not enough. I left feeling like like a criminal. It’s the psychiatrist version of a pill-mill. He didn’t ask me any questions about my past as a new patient. He made me feel very insignificant. I should have walked out which what I wanted to do. By the way, it’s all an insurance-bilking-rehab scam. He only wanted me to get a treatment because he said I only had a couple more dollars until I hit my deductible. It is disturbing when the doctor is emailing his billing department before he… decides on treatment. This man is a shame for a “doctor who helps.” And discreet and private?? No. I sat in the hall outside his office waiting with two other random strangers. He walked by several times (stepped over my feet because it was such tight quarters) and never said: I’ll be right with you. This went on for half an hour before he invited me in. When I left, the waiting room had over a dozen people in their. Had I listened to my inner voice, I would have run from this place when I saw Dr Rodriguez’s picture. He’s cold and his personality and disgust with you will not be helping you get better. You will feel like a piece of sh** for asking for help. Save your money. Their are SEVERAL other Dr’s in the area. Tip of the day: What kind of doctor requires a $100 deposit???

Dr. Rodriguez has been my doctor for almost 20 years . He saved my life. He is an amazing doctor and has an excellent repooire with patients. He has a way about him that enables him to help even the most difficult patients . I can't say enough about how much he goes above and beyond to help anyone who comes to him ! If you need help with any issues in your life - addiction related or personal - please go see him ! If you have a loved one who needs help , bring them to see him and he will change their life . I sincerely mean all of this . He is the best psychiatrist around !
