Dr. Raveendran Meleth, MD

Dr. Meleth most certainly has problems communicating with some patients because of his accent, however, he did not look up from his computer to actually correspond. He will not refer me for other specialty consultations even though his diagnosis has not helped my issue. However, he continues to write the prescriptions for pain medicine without actually finding the source of the pain. I have asked to be referred to a new dr. I wouldn't recommend him as a physician.

The doctor seems to have preconceived notions about what he will or will not find. He does not confer with other doctors (specialist) to find out why they have made a diagnosis (factors). His reports tend to state yes or no in a factual manner, while the research information he used as reference as exact as he may suggest (does not let the reader know of medical relationships).

Dr. Meleth has problems communicating with some patients because of his accent, yet he has been in this country for many years. At times he does not keep his patients informed of critical information such as test results that may be deemed serious and for this patient, failed to inform me of abnormal lab results as he did not deem the results as important causing delay in diagnosing a serious illness. He does not respond to all patients favorably when they ask to be sent for specialty consultations when a clear diagnosis is not evident and their problems extend for long periods of time. I wouldn't recommend him as a physician that I would want to see again.
