Dr. Ravi Ravinder Mididoddi, MD

I sat by while Dr Mittidoti questioned and reviewed my wifes rather complex and long standing issue. Dr. Mittidoti asked clear and insightful questions and did IMO an excellent diagnostic workup, her treatment regimen did not require much change at this time. He suggested blood tests and a subsequent visit in two months

Dr. Mididoddi was the only doctor in over a dozen years who through persistence uncovered/treated the root cause of my hypertension. With his guidance, I have now returned to normal blood pressure for the first time in this century. He has a very gentle, polite manner and was determined to get to the root of my malady. He has always taken my appointment on time. I don't sit around waiting for a doctor to arrive. Dr. Mididoddi's staff are also cordial and very competent. I am Highly Satisfied and recommend him to other nephrology patients.

I'm writing this review from the perspective of both my mother - a patient of Dr. Mididoddi - and myself - as a family member of one of Dr. Mididoddi's patients. My mum is a kidney transplant patient who experienced some difficulties, including hospitalization, in the first few years after her transplant. During one of these hospitalizations, my mum had the good luck of being seen by Dr. Mididoddi. He took the time to familiarize himself with her history and the facts and circumstances that caused her hospitalization. Upon meeting with her at the hospital he was compassionate, competent, and knowledgeable. After that hospitalization, my mum switched nephrologists and began seeing Dr. Mididoddi. It was the best decision. Dr. Mididoddi continues to be my mum's favorite doctor. He is concerned about my mother's overall well-being and not just the health of her kidney. Dr. Mididoddi has done a wonderful job of referring my mum to additional doctors, when necessary, and strives… for a cohesive and balanced approach to her healthcare. Even though my mum has many health issues, Dr. Mididoddi does a great job of not making her or our family feel overwhelmed, putting things in perspective and offering helpful insight into what can be done to improve my mum's health and optimize her quality of life. He also stresses the fact that he is always a phone call or an email away and no question or concern is too small to bring to his attention.

I've been seeing RAVI MIDIDODDI MD for two years and could not be more pleased. His thorough testing led to successful treatment of a condition that had been threatening my health for over 12 years. I had seen a number of other specialists who had not found the source of my condition. Dr. Mididoddi spends plenty of time thoroughly studying my progress at every appointment. I'm very comfortable with his attention to my case and highly recommend him.

Dr. Mididoddi is the best doctor I have ever met. My Dad sees him and I feel he has actually saved my Dad's life. My Dad has many medical issues along with his kidney function. Dr. Mididoddi not only is treating him for his kidney function issues, he has helped him with all of the medications he is on. At each appointment he spends lots of time making sure all is OK. If you see Dr. Mididoddi, know you will be well taken care of and treated as a genuine person!

He is hardly ever available. It is almost impossible to get a hold of him and beyond impossible to get a response back the same day (even when it is for an urgent matter). 9 times out of 10, you would have to leave messages with his staff a couple of times a day, for a few days in order to get a swift answer. Many times he would "be on vacation" for the week. My husband and I are his elderly parents' caretakers and we have yet met not spoke to this dr personally. He only goes through the dialysis nurse.

I just read the review that was posted in July, and I must say that my personal experience is exactly the opposite. I have been a patient of Dr. Mididoddi's for several years now, since I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. He has been monitoring my kidney function which was compromised by the heart failure. He is a rare individual who takes the time to explain the details of my condition using clear, easy to understand language, and is very willing to answer any questions that I might have, no matter how many. He is an extremely kind and respectful person who treats his patients with great compassion. I would recommend Dr. Mididoddi to friends, family, and anyone who needs a caring doctor. And the staff has always been helpful.

Poor staff called for followup appointment staff always has reason why the Doctor is not available. The Doctor refuses to send medical records to my primary Doctor.
