I don't normally write reviews but I was compelled by the turn of events. Dr Patel performed cataract surgery on both my eyes in March 2023. As a result I have complications, Cystoid Macular Edema and panuveitis. I am now being treated by a retina specialist for both. As a result I also have negative dysphotopsia that has not improved since March. I did not go back to him because I do not trust him. On my 30 day post op visit I asked him a question and he responded: you can do anything you did before the surgery. I asked another question and he responded: if you ask another question I will walk out, and he pointed to the door. It was very humiliating and I wish now I had walked out. I am an older lady and in my entire life no doctor has ever spoken to me like that. In my opinion brow beating a vulnerable patient is definitely not a mark of a good doctor or a caring doctor.
