Ravi Sharaf, MD, MS is a gastroenterologist and health services researcher with a clinical focus on the care of patients with hereditary cancer syndromes.He is the Director of Genetics and Personalized Cancer Prevention Program at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Associate Professor of Medicine, with appointments in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Department of Medicine, as well in the Divison of Epidemiology in the Department of Population Health Sciences. His research focuses on optimizing the delivery of genomic medicine, studying the comparative and cost effectiveness of alternate cancer prevention strategies, and tailoring cancer prevention to individual risk. His research is funded by the National Cancer Institute and the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute.He completed his internal medicine training at Columbia University Medical Center-New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Sharaf is a great listener, patient, empathetic, sensitive, sincere, and friendly. He is comfortable navigating and advising me through all of the myriad details of my tests results and unique personal concerns, while also always keeping an eye on the "big picture." Dr. Sharaf is pleasant, professional and prepared. The doctor made me comfortable and explained the process clearly. Dr Sharaf provided test method, possible results and impact of each result. He welcomed questions. Highly recommended.

I had a video call with Dr Ravi he was very genuine ,thorough and answered all my questions. I felt like it was going to be a great chat session and it was. And no matter what I said he had an answer for it. Nice chat.
