Dr. Ravi performed my dad's surgery and it was amazing how after the surgery he was actually able to walk and stand without any pain! As much as I did not want to have a surgery, but this is a miracle Sergery. I am impressed. My dad went through hip replacement surgery and he was amazing! Very happy!

excellent specialist. very attentive to your concerns, pain and questions. Several times emailed him for various questions and got immediate response. very easy to schedule appointment for surgery. Highly recommended

Getting surgery is scary, and the biggest concern is the Doctor. Let me ease your concerns by letting you know that Dr. Tharani was an excellent doctor. Hip replacement is a very serious procedure, but I don't think my surgery could have been easier. The doctor was very precise and focused on one thing - my health.

This is the first time I have ever written a review, but I had to due to the way I was treated by this guy. I had the misfortune of being referred to Tharani for a torn meniscus. He told me that he “… didn't need a MRI to know that you have a torn meniscus” and proceeded to give me a cortisone shot. This relieved the pain for about a week. When I contacted him about surgery because my knee was locking up, he said that I needed to get an MRI. After the MRI, I had to contact him again to try to schedule the surgery. Then he said he wanted to examine my knee again. Knowing that I was trying to schedule the surgery around a very important trip to Europe, he finally set an appointment for the week before he went on vacation for a month. This would have put my surgery within days of my trip to Europe. This guy is not worth your time.

I had a successful total hip replacement on my right hip two years ago at the age of 50. I am now able to compete in triathlons (sprint only), open water swim races, and even have taken up the aerial arts (including the flying trapeze)! I have my old life back as an avid athlete and no less never suffer from major anxiety and depression that was caused by the chronic pain before my replacement. Soon, I will get my left replaced and will have Dr. Tharani do it! I am very pleased with my results!
