Had procedure and problem is worse. Cannot talk with doctor for another 4 weeks. No communication

Dr Mittal completely understood me. Years of diligent attention to fine details of the colon have made him an excellent gastroenterologist. Plus, I like him. His great smile and warm handshake were encouraging. I have every confidence that he will know exactly what is wrong with me, even if he can’t fix me. Because of his research UCSD has the edge with equipment for testing. He’s seriously perfect.

If somehow want a doctor who does not return phone calls, even when he states he will call you. You can call several times with no response. Who does not even return emails through the UCSD website and basically ignores you unless you schedule an appointment and wait a month..then this is your guy!!

Although bedside manner is important, and he did have some, I felt he cared and was sorry that the news I received wasn't the best, I was more concerned with his expertise. That is why I chose to see him. I valued his knowledge and expertise.For that I will wait for the best if I need to.
