I have had back surgery and had a very short recovery period. Lost the pain. Gain mobility. Very happy I had his support and treatment. His followup was very thorough. I had visited other surgeons for treatment with no good results.

Dr. Ravi has done two back surgeries on me. This man knows his stuff. He is very cautious when he is preparing what he is going to do & how he is going to do it. He has a great bedside manner, answering any questions you or your family may have and spending all the time with you that is needed. He follows you for several months post-op to make sure everything is right. I wouldn't trust anyone else to touch my back.

1.I had a 2 hour wait to see the doctor and not once was I asked or told anything as to why. 2. Once the doctor did come into exam room I was seen and talked to for a total of 5 minutes. During this time my name was discussed and he made derogatory comments about my name. He seemed to think he was being funny or cute. He also made the comment that I needed to lose weight and that he knew that was the first time I had every been told that. This had nothing to do with my neck injury and was again a personal insult, I am fat and yes I do know it anyone who sees me knows that and I do not have to wait over 2 hours and be charged over $800.00 for that information. 3.the nurse loaded the MRI on the computer in the exam room and I saw the Images, When the doctor went to look for them he could not figure out how to find them on the computer(all he had to do was click on the window that was loaded I knew how but he did not he had to go out and have the nurse show him the report . 4.… While the doctor was in the exam room with me one of the receptionist knocked and came in and told the doctor that "the 10th floor called and wanted to know if MRS. (not sure of the name) could eat." the doctor said no.The nurse said that they had to canceled the ladies surgery that morning and the patient was hungry. Doctor said he knew they had canceled the surgery that morning and that he did not want the patient to eat,because he was going to do surgery, but not to tell them that just to say no food. 5. He said that he was a surgeon and he did surgery. (like I did not know that) 6. After he came back in the room from looking at the MRI report he asked if I had received any physical therapy, or shots in my neck. I said no. He said well they could help but with my injury where it was in my neck it would be very risky. 7. I said I would try the physical therapy and get back to him if I wanted surgery. I would not and will not go back to him if he was the last surgeon on earth and it was 100 percent sure to cure me. He was rude, showed total lack of caring about patients and if he cant figure out how to use his own computer I sure don't want him cutting on my neck.

HE is the best Doctor I have ever seen,not much time waiting in his office at Christian north east I could hardly walk I was so bad he scheduled my surgery for the following wed.I was out of the hospital on fri.and not had a seconds trouble since I am 3 weeks out of surgery ,he is fantastic always answeres questions,never in a hurry to get back to other patients until you are satisfied,and he is close to Alton,Godfrey area if you are hurting go see him now.

I've seen Dr Shitut for over 20 years. He has been wonderful to me, straightforward and professional.

Dr. Shitut was wonderful! I had two surgeries 5 days apart on my neck. There was minimal pain and Dr. Shitut followed me closely after both surgeries to make sure my recovery was progressing as it should. He kept the family well informed and was very caring to all of us. I would highly recommend him to everyone.
