One of the busiest neurosurgeons in the nation, performing 600-700 operations per year, we utilize minimally invasive spine surgery techniques as much as possible. We treat many common problems like herniated disks of the neck and low back, as well as complex procedures using minimally invasive techniques. Examples include microdiskectomy, anterior cervical diskectomy and fusion with PEEK cage and plate, minimally invasive pedicle screw fusion (TLIF, or transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion), artificial disk (being the first in the area to perform the FDA-approved Prestige artificial cervical disk, with complete relief of symptoms in several patients), kyphoplasty for compression fractures, and many other problems.
