He is an excellent surgent, wonderful bedside manner, goes up & above, highly recommend him..

Patwardhan did surgery on me 4 years a go and its been nothing but pain since. Because of all the damage he did to my back I'm having my 6th yes SIXTH back surgery next week. There are no words I can say to tell you about the amount of pain this man put me through. Who cares that he is rude. The only thing he is good at is being the worst Dr. of a life time trust me he is the best at that. I can not believe he is still in America. I'm at a loss for words this man made me hate life. Before you Patti I was happy.

No follow up with pain post op for 2 years. Result... Collapsed graft and fracture he told me was normal. Second opinion and surgery a success. Run. Run from him

i had an L5S1 lumbar fusion in 2009. after being told by patwardins nurse that i shouldn't be having any pain 3 weeks after surgery!!!...i requested an x-ray. that was the only diagnostic follow up exam conducted on me. After having to go through pain management for a year while waiting on my fusion to heal i decided to go for a second opinion. That is when i was told that not only is there a broken screw in my back but that the fusion failed...i.e. absolutely NO bone in the cage put in my back. If that wasn't enough I was told it had to be revised and that the hardware would have to be left due to scar tissue. I will forever feel pain due to this hardware. Instead of improving my quality of life Dr. Patwardin exacerbated my condition. The personal agony due to his incompetence has caused immeasurable pain. I have since had a revision by Dr. Britain Auer and am 9 weeks out of surgery and feel better than I have in two years. I would never recommend Patwardin but that point is mute… since he has now run off to Hong Kong due to the public's recent enlightenment.

Dr. Patwardhan saw me the same week I called for an appt. That's almost unheard of these days. I learned that he is able to do this because when he started his independent practice a few years ago,he began seeing patients the same week they called...the tradition has just continued...lucky me. Not only could I get in fast to see him; he was thorough in his approach to helping me with my problem. Surgery is the last option Dr. Patwardhan recommended, and that was after all other treatments had been tried or ruled out. It is comforting to be in the care of a compassionate surgeon. For me and my family, we trust the brain and spine expertise of Dr. Patwardhan.
