Dr. Ray Poon-Phang Seet

Normally I wouldn't waste my time writing a review but since he was my doctor for over 12 years, I feel I have every right to express my feelings. I read Sera Elizabeth's review and thought she was and is a complete joke!!! Who starts off a review on a physician that has had his license revoked with this. "He was my boss, my physician, mentor and friend. " I was honestly speechless!! How dare you have the nerve to feel so high and mighty!!! What type of boss gives their employees prescriptions??? The same type of boss that get's his patient pregnant!! Oh did I forget to say that she's 45 plus years younger!?! Yes, I'm being nice. Not to mention that she had a meth problem, but he still gave her controlled substances. Congrats on their baby and I really hope that she cleaned up her act!! I know she's gone to rehab several time. Continue putting him on a pedi stool and not take responsibility for anything!!! Yes, he's such the victim!!! He took advantage of everyone and everything!!! You… have to be blind not to see that!! He didn't sacrifice anything, but people's lives!! All he cared about was MONEY!!!!! He wasn't even able to take insurance the last 6 plus years he was in business, because of insurance fraud!!!! Unless you paid him by credit card than that was processed by the salon he owns. I know a lot and wish there wasn't a statue of limitation. I'm laugh at you and your stupidity!!! But rock on Sera Elizabeth and maybe you can give him a metal for being such an amazing person!!!

Was my Boss, my physician, my mentor and my friend. As I read so many of these unfortunate reviews, I am reminded of all the years Dr. Seet sacrificed his time for those who couldn’t pay him for treatment. I also distinctly remember him getting taken advantage of, Rx pads going missing and he getting blamed for situations that had nothing to do with him. I certainly wouldn’t work for a quack, and I consider myself a somewhat intelligent woman . During the years I worked for Dr. Seet, I made sure the office ran smoothly, the patient’s were all legitimate, accounts receivable/payable, and the bills got paid. On many occasions a patient would drive long distances (eg.Stinson Beach etc.) to see Dr. Seet. This always raised red flags for me. I would try and explain to Ray that he was being taken advantage of. He would look at me with utter confusion, and ask me “why would anyone ever want to do that?” Perhaps it was his culture, or his generation but never would Dr. Ray P. Seet do harm… onto others. But I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt, I saw countless people take advantage of his kindness. I’m sad to read he hasn’t fought back towards his innocence but sometimes it’s just too exhausting. ~Sera Elizabeth

No only has he lost his license for preying on the elderly and making money supporting addicts, he also pretends to be a realtor. When he found out my father (once his patient, unfortunately) passed away, Seet was calling me with ludicrously low offers to broker selling the property (illegal -- real estate license required). When I told him to go away, he tried to work through my sister to cut a deal! Sleazy person. As the other reviewers note, his good reviews are probably written by himself or his cronies.

I have been a patient of Dr. Seet for years and have always thought he was a very knowledgeable and qualified Doctor. He has always seemed to have a lot of knowledge on any medical subject we have ever discussed, and usually tries to get to the root of the problem causing whatever ailment I have gone to visit him for. A lot of times there are simple solutions to health conditions we are experiencing, and I think a lot of other Doctors tend to fail to point out the simple solutions. Dr. Seet has definitely helped me very much

Thanks a lot for not letting patients know and finding reasons to collect cash twice a month horrible and disturbing evidence the medical board has on dr seet

Having seen my share of General Practicioners I can honestly say Dr Seet is one of the best diagnosticians I have had the pleasure of meeting over 20 years ago. Dr Seet was the only doctor (out of 3) to diagnose correctly my sinus/ allergy problems when he was located in Novato. His patient counseling has always been considerate and educational with an emphasis on proactive health care. Few other physicians ever advised me to lose weight if I came in with flu symptoms Dr Seet did and gave me printed diet recipes to consider. If you want a great family/personal physician for counsel or a second opinion or "old fashioned" personal health care Dr Seet should be on your short list.

What a joke what's his deal anyways with dr seet , he just wants the money that's all there's way better out there hes rude acts like he's legit but can't even properly diagnose my injury and pain.. He didn't wanna even spend time with me, he cut me off everytime i tried talking lol. Hes strict on pain meds to so don't waste your time , I was happy wen it was over I gladly left because i got another docter a friend told me about which is so legit, and I'm going to him now, sorry i cant give up his name i gotta keep quiet with this doc if you know what im sayin, took a month to get in but worth every minute and every penny, my new doc aint afraid to write me scripts for whatever so I'm not living in pain every day anymore . Yay !!! Don't give them ur money go somwhere else please.

I read these reviews, and it appears there is one person that has a serious issue with a family member, I hope you get help. But don't drag Dr. Seet down with you. Please, he is not a doctor that gives medicine to patients easily. He is very, very thorough, and I have not experienced any easy breazy ways with him. He is the BEST physician I have met in years. I've been having ongoing domestic problems with Scott ondaro one of dr. Seets pts. He is my sisters ( teresa hansons) boyfriend who lives here most nights against mine and my mothers will. We've asked him to leave repeatedly to no avail. He's verbally threatining and abusive. He wants to be my sisters care giver. I suspect both are doing coke or meth to account for my sisters violant behavior. My sister is stealing my mail and property demanding money. I've called dr. Seet regarding Scott ondaros inappropriate conduct to no avail. Scott insists he has dr. Seet "in his pocket". Mr ondaro seems to have no where to live other than in my sisters bedroom. I believe he is homeless and his source of income seems questionable. I don't think it is appropriate for mds to be fostering possible malfeisense by their prescribing practices. Maybe it would be illuminating to look into what dr. Seet is prescribing mr. Ondaro for what medical conditions and look into whether mr. Ondaros income is… derived from dr. Seets prescribing practices. My mother and I are living in a violent and abusive environment because of Scott ondaros presence which seems to aggravate my sisters propensity to be violent. I suspect both are using things that cause violent and abusive behavior. I had to lock myself in a bedroom today and call the police. They have been out here many times since Scott ondaro has been living here. Dr. Seet should be ashamed of himself. Also, Marin county health and human services has refused to give me housing away from my violent sister. I hope dr. Seet is investigated for prescribing practices that have most definitely have affected my household, by possibly giving Scott ondaro a source of income. Dr. Seet refused to see me, a legitimate. Back sx pt. Caveat emptor.
