Dr. Raymond John Altieri, MD

If you know what you are getting into he is fine. You are not going to get much in the way of counseling or guidance in your recovery. I went to a separate facility for therapy and saw him for the Suboxone. I found this to be very cost effective as Dr. Altieri is reasonably priced as Suboxone doctors go. Also it is very easy to see him in the morning before work as his office opens really early and there is often no wait time. He has always been professional towards me and flexible when I needed to reschedule. You will get tested everytime but if you need Suboxone his services are adequate.

I have been seeing this doctor for some time. He is extremely unpleasant. Being a patient of suboxone , it is a vulnerable and difficult thing to ask for help and work toward the goal of directing your life back to managing it successfully. He has no compassion for this and speaks to me as if I were indegeneart child of the street. I am 45 year old professional who is a high functioning member of society that has a job that contributes greatly to the lifestyle of others. I have never been spoken to the way this "professional" speaks to people. When his patients complain about him they are not complaining about his rules, they are referring to the way he treats them as a person. I absolutely hate going to see this man. It ruins my whole day. Unfortunately due to my hours, he is the only suboxone doctor I can see. I can tell you that this man is so horrible that it may get me off the suboxone. I have been working on my own taper to get off of it (which he should be doing) just so I do… not have to ever see him again and be subjected to being treated in such a way.

Horrible doctor and even worse man. If you are going to him for Suboxone treatment, do yourself a favor and find someone else. He will not help you in recovery and will only profit off of your misfortune.

Very rude. Office phone was forwarded to his cell phone. No professional office staff to answer questions/concerns which I found highly unusual. It cannot be stated enough: incredibly, incredibly rude.

Dr Altieri is a good Dr. He sees his patients accordingly and will help you for your needs . I have had great experience with him and will continue my visits . Some people have had problems with the rules but what kind of Dr would he be if there were no rules to follow.

Horrible. Switched primary's to john Hopkins. Would notblieten to my health concerns. Refuse to see doctor ever again.

Dr. Altieri was a fine doctor while I was his patient. Now I have moved and he is refusing to give me my medical records.

I called and ot an appt within 2 days, when I got there only had to wait 5 min. Before being seen, he is very strict but a wonderful doctor,would recommend to anyone!!!
