Dr. Raymond E Cole, DO

My wait times here are ALWAYS well past my appointment time, its one thing if your ill or have a health issue, but when your simply forced to come in for a script refill (hydrocodone) there should be something in place to simply get in & out as to not waste my, the staff & the doctors time

I have been searching for over two months for a doctor that treats and tests hypothyroid properly with adrenal issues it causes. This doctor will not let you pay cash if he doesn't take your insurance. The receptionist would not list the insurance the doctor takes. My husband just got a new job. If his new insurance is accepted by Dr. Cole, I was hoping to call back and make an appointment. You will have to look on-line for a list of insurances. If you do not have the right insurance, don't bother calling. I do not have a clue if the insurance list is up-to-date. At this point, I am considering the way the receptionist treated me as my first impression is horrible; easily agitated, would not list accepted insurances, and she couldn't get off the phone quick enough. Over all rude! I would rather spend my time and money with a staff that cares.

Worst doctor I have ever visited. I have had Hidradenitis Supprativa for over 15 years suffer from seizures and have eczema, and I have never had a Doctor treat me so badly. Went in for new patient appointment and was told I was too young to be this sick (only 28) and that Dr. Cole no longer wanted to see me. Really my first appointment and that's how I get treated!? My illnesses don't care how young or old I am they are here to stay.

He has a good bedside manner, I'll give him that. But overall, I don't think he's a good doctor. Long story short, my treatment wasn't working out and he gave me a prescription, then told me to come back in a few months. The same day, he sent me a letter saying that he dropped me as a patient without including a reason. Even though what he did is legal, I think it was very unprofessional. He needs to be confrontational and tell me to my face. What kind of doctor doesn't have the guts to tell patients things they don't want to hear?

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Cole for 12 years and he has been terrific. He diagnosed a nerve problem I have in my arms that I had suffered with for years and several other doctors missed it completely. We are very comfortable with Dr. Cole. He has always provided accurate diagnosis, he is compassionate, and he doesn't hesitate to refer to specialists when needed.

After using Dr. Cole as my primary physician I had to find another doctor to treat my medical problems. Along with diabetes, I suffered from extreme pain which he did not diagnose or treat. He said nothing could be done for me. His only referrel to another physician was one who also was about as competent as Dr. Cole. After being cautioned by my daughter, a registered nurse, that my treatment was substandard she suggested a doctor which has an excellent reputation and training. As a result of lack of treatment by Dr. Cole for almost five years, my new physician and at least four other specialists took almost an additional five years to undo as well as possible the damage caused by previous lack of treatment caused primarily by my diabetes. In good faith, I could not direct anyone to Dr. Cole for treatment.

Dr. Cole has always been accurate with his diagnosis and/or readily referred me to a specialist when needed.
