It all began when I made a call for an appointment. I asked the nurse if one of my medications was considered an antihistamine. Three times they told me that they cannot advise me to go off the medicine. What was so frustrating was I didn't ask if I should go off the medicine. I simply asked if my med was an antihistamine. The next day the office called me and again I had to go through the stupidity of them telling me not to go off it!! In my opinion, this office is completely incompetent!!!!!

I met with Dr. Dattwyler today. It was the first time that I saw an allergist for my extreme itchiness. I had seen internal medicine physicians and dermatologists in both Long Island and Florida and their only answers were to prescribe corticosteroids. Well, none of them worked! I was desperate. Finally, I decided to see an allergist. I thought that perhaps I had food allergies. Dr. Dattwyler and his WONDERFUL registered nurse did some skin testing on me. I was negative to all of the irritants. He finally decided what my problem was and it was an easy and doable solution to my problem - a household remedy and not a prescription. Not only is he thorough, he is so pleasant, friendly and approachable (and smart), he spends time with you in a non-threatening way. I would recommend Dr. D in a heartbeat.

I took my 3 year old daughter to him and he was delightful. He spent a lot of time with us, answered every question. It was just such a nice experience.

What a wonderful doctor! I was able to get an appointment right away and we were called in a few minutes before and the doctor walked in at our scheduled time. Amazing. Dattwyler was extremely patient and caring and VERY thorough. My daughter was very happy to which is what really counts.
