Dr. Raymond William Fluke, MD

Dr. Fluke is a VA doc. I am HOH; his voice is difficult to hear and understand. It is not helped by the facts that he does not enunciate and turns his back to type on his computer and hollers so I end up talking to his back. His eye contact is poor. He does not answer questions nor offer explanations or guidance. He wrote in my record that I had "probable xxxxx", a serious condition and never once spoke to me about it. That was unconscionable in a doctor and typical of Dr. Fluke. I have asked to always see a different doctor. The VA staff is excellent.

Dr Fluke was very pleasant and gave me more attention then any other MD I have ever seen . He was able separate my issues in to three problems which we are addresing one at a time. Thanks to his experance I noe am starting to feel much better.

Call the liscensing board in Maine you can ask how many complaints he has had on him before you go to him. Their is a reason why his ratings are poor. He did not treat my family well, and after calling the liscensing board I am obviously no the only one. He did more damage to my family wrongfuly, intentionally, and with out knowing his facts first. Defarmation of my good character. No need for it.

Didn't answer questions, nor give me proper diagnosis which was damaging and didn't ask many questions either. Maybe if he had and did the correct tests he would have figured out the real and correct diagnosis and I would have had proper care and not suffered. Other rating sites this doctor doesn't scale well either, no surprise.

Overall experience with this doctor was extremely poor. He didn't answer questions. Poor bedside manner, personally found him "creepy" and "odd". Poor communications as well. He acted indifferent to my issues. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. He seemed detached to me, not able to feel like I could trust him,or build a patient doctor relationship. I later got the office report and he wrote down not so good things about me. I was shocked!! He bashed me, never had a doctor say things like that about me before. hhmmmmm It's a doctors privilage to treat patients, I did not find him, caring, compassionate, empathetic, understanding, or even caring really. Never experienced this before. My opinion from my experience.
