Dr Raymond R. Gaeta, MD

Dr. Gaeta really listens and offers hope. He offers good alternatives and explanations. I know some patients who just want narcotics will not like him. He doesn't just fill medications.

Dr Gaeta did an excellent job of listening to my concerns and working with me to come up with the best solution to try. In the 6 weeks since I have seen him I truly feel like I have been given my life back. I am able to once again concentrate at work, do physical therapy as well as get some things done at home. Beyond my wildest expectation! Thank you so much.

I never even got to meet this doctor because the office staff is crazy. I called and asked if he was accepting new patients, to which the woman replied yes. So I asked to make an appointment for my mother who just got out of the hospital. The woman sounded SO OFFENDED and replied that I can’t just make an appointment I need a referral. So I called my doctor and had her send over a referral which she did that day. I called back three days later and they said they never received the refferal. Fast forward a month and 5 faxes later of the refferal they still can’t find it so I ask if I can walk it in. Not possible. I now have been told “stop calling here, try Mountain View”. So my doctor, who’s now frustrated decides to call herself to see what’s going on. They talk, and get the refferal sorted out. Great. They just called me back and said “We received your refferal, but we’re not currently taking new patients”. WHAT? Then why have I been talking to you for 2 MONTHS trying to get an… appointment. Waste of time.

He really listens but doesn't put up with people who are drug seeking. Lots of people who rate him low are just trying to get opioids. He offers REAL hope for a better life instead of numbing you with drugs.

As a doctor he had one of the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced. I truly don't think he even looked at my medical history. I have a fracture in my lower back as was as DDD. I am bone on bone and have a difficult time doing the smallest things. Even taking a shower has become so painful and there are days that my pain puts me in tears.. I understand that the DEA is cracking down on giving opioids, but my history shows I have never up my dosage because I take days off so I don't become tolerant. I saw Dr. Brose in San Mateo who at least was a gentleman. Dr. Gaeta on the other hand was curt and rude. He showed no compassion whatsoever. He had a superior attitude and in my opinion should change specialties in order that he not deal with patients. It's a good thing he didn't charge me.

Dr. Gaeta really pays attention and makes real diagnoses before offering treatment. Even when the treatment takes time, he offers hope.

The best doctor I have been to.

He is very compassionate and understanding. He treats patients with respect. He is an example for other physicians. The new facility is OUTSTANDING!
