Even with difficult diagnosis, Dr Hooft has been careful, researched all possibilities, and the accurately diagnosed me with having a medication side effect which led me to suspending Embrel and it saved me from disability sue to severe dizziness ( that could easily have been confused with an earlier episode of BPPV. I trust him more than any other doctors.

He or staff always make time for me

They were friendly and quick. I appreciated them listening to my symptoms and prescribing what I needed to heal. I also took my daughter and we had the same service.

Second stipulation and order from the board of medicine because of alcohol and drug abuse plus sleeping with patients.....rude staff....will never go again.

Went there in extreme pain, wrote Rx but did not care about finding the reason for the pain. On return visit finally scheduled test but made me wait for days to get results because he didn't have the time to review. Finally, days later, the nurse called and said I needed to see someone for chronic pain, I ended up needing emergency surgery. Staff is rude and could care less about your problems.

I have been using this clinic for years and never had anything but excellent care. They have even called to follow up when someone in our family had a concerning issue. Providers take time to explain what is being prescribed and what to expect from them.

Doctor Hooft and his staff are really concerned about patients, very knowledgeable and are the best in the area. We always receive the best of care. My husband was seeing an internal specialist for wellness checks who always said he was fine. He decided to go to Dr. Hooft for an exam for a second opinion and Dr. Hooft found he had prostate cancer and immediately set him up with a specialist in that area who proved to be just as wonderful. He was immediately scheduled for surgery. Doctor Hooft and his staff have always made accurate diagnoses and been available whenever we have needed health care. When necessary he has sent us to the best specialists in the area and we have never regretted anything. Years ago I had acquired MRSA and I was successfully treated by Dr. Hooft and his staff who took the best care of me during a difficult time. Thanks a million, Dr. Raymond Hooft and Dr Katie Nielson and everyone at Idaho Minor Emergency Clinic!!!

I was referred to Dr. Hooft as I have been suffering from severe chronic pain. After briefly reviewing what the nurse wrote, he looked up my prescription history and asked me accusingly why it was that I hadn't had my prescription filled in a while yet I said I was still taking them??? Immediately got up, said he WOULD NOT help me and that I needed to leave his office NOW!!! Treated me as if I was a drug addict, piece of filth. I have never been so humiliated in all my life!!! I would not refer Dr Hooft to my worst enemy. I feel sorry for someone that feels they have to treat people that way. Based on other reviews and many disturbing articles online about him it seems that he may have some very deep rooted issues. Please steer clear and save yourself the humiliation.

Great Doctor - have been seeing him for over 15 years, and use him as my primary care doctor. He diagnosed my MS when 3 other doctors didn't find it.

Dr. Hooft is caring, he is a good listener & will answer as many questions as you have; also he doesn't have the "god complex" that so many drs. have. Our family of 4 trust him and consider him a friend.
