Dr. Raymond Eugene Kazmar, MD

Many individuals who deal with autoimmune diseases know how hard it is to find the "right" doctor. I have lupus and rheumatoid arthritis and am 28 years old. I've never found a sweeter and more caring doctor than Dr. Kazmar. He truly wants to help his patients. He wants to ease his patients' pain, but also thinks ahead to the future as to not cause any damage. He WILL listen to your needs, and if you feel like he hasn't, make sure you tell him, and he will understand. He sets up a health plan WITH you, and explains everything. He's shy and quiet spoken, and reminds me of my grandfather. The front office is quite scatterbrained and sometimes rude. Make sure you keep calling him if your messages haven't been returned. Sometimes he hasn't received them! (Again, the front office is sometimes ridiculous! And, they have paperwork absolutely everywhere.) You will have to wait a while before seeing him because he always spends a lot of time with his patients. It is worth seeing the wait and… the trouble with the front desk! He jokes about retiring soon, which REALLY scares me. I've been his patient for six years now. I don't know what will happen to me after he leaves.
