Dr. Raymond Charles Kurker, MD

I had only one visit to the office this year. However, they sent me two bills for two different days. I called the office and they cancelled the second bill. This is Insane, unprofessional and cheating !

I as well as my family have been going to Dr.kurker for over 3 years now and have never had a problem with him! His bedside manner is very good, he sits and listens as well as looks at you when you talk ( which many drs don’t) and he’s always determined to get to the bottom of the issue! I have had many issues and he has always helped! As well as call me back when needed! And if there were any issues with staff members if you tell him he takes care of the issue! Al in all I would say he’s an excellent dr an I reccommend him to many people!

Please review all of your bills and insurance statements that you receive from this practice. My husband went for his “free” physical, which as of this date is costing us almost $200 out of pocket. How could that be you say? Well, they wanted to do an ekg. My husband explained it was not covered by insurance. Don’t worry, they said, we can code it so it will only be a small fee. Has the ekg done. Then the bills come in from the insurance company. I called the insurance company. Apparently they charged for two separate appointments on the same day. One for his physical along with the ekg, and another for a blood pressure med check. Now, last I checked, having your blood pressure checked, whether or not you are due for your three month med checkup, is part of your physical. I asked if anything extra was done at his physical, and my husband said they only checked his blood pressure. That charge is for $152. Upon speaking with Maryanne in the billing department, she informed me that we got… quite a break the way she did it with a modifier 25 extension, it could have cost us a lot more had she billed it separately. Needless to say, we fired this doctor’s office and their shady practice of doing things if this is how he allows Maryanne to file things. Called to have our records transferred to another practice. Sweet Maryanne called back, and informed me it would be 65 cents a page, and that she could charge this much because “the law” says that it costs that much. Upon review of the law, it is true that a doctor’s office can charge “up to” 65 cents per page, once again showing me how Maryanne is shifty with her billing practices. I called her back, after hanging up on her and left a message that we would not need to have our records transferred. We would be seeing competent doctors now. Was I nice to her, not at all! However, this practice has shown nothing but unprofessionalism from the moment we started going there.

Not to sure how professional it is to forget to put your patient on hold and you report to your colleague that the mess is on the phone again. It was very hurtful especially after I just got done saying how nice and understanding you were. I had a problem and thought that's why you guys were there to help patients. I have lost all respect for you. Nothing like hurting an elderly lady's day with your rude and very unprofessional comment. Have a pleasant day.

I called because my inhaler wasn't working properly. informed person on the phone & was told someone would get back to me by 5pm. It was 930am, explained I was having medical issue & needed it, could she talk to someone & told me no...I would have to wait. Very upset with the staff. I'm sitting all day in distress waiting to have an inhaler called into a pharmacy!

Phoned in prescription to the office because my insurance changed their primary Pharmacy. Still waiting on Prescription after about 4 days. Apparently, the staff can't handle it. If you don't like the staff. don't worry. The staff will change on your next visit.

I've seen Dr. Kurker a few times this past year, and have always gone to him in the past as well. He has a great bedside manner, always takes the time to ask me how my family is doing and how things are going. He's always been great at diagnosing what's wrong with me and his treatment recommendations have always worked for me. I can't recommend him highly enough.

I have been looking for a physician like this for a long time and I am very pleased with my care.

I've been seen most recently by the APRN. I liked her and was happy to have found someone in the area I liked after Dianne left. Now I'm told she's gone too. This doctor should stop yelling at his staff in front of everyone and treating people like he's better than them. Maybe he'd get staff to stay. I won't go back.

Doctors office does not call in important prescriptions when needed especially before the weekend. The doctor never call back when you want results for tests. I've called four days in a row and they say I will get a call back from the doctor... I'm STILL waiting!
