Dr. Raymond Wai-Ming Lee, MD

Two MD's in San Jose of the same first name, middle initial, and same last name. One is an ER doctor, and the other one a hematologist/Oncologist, ER doc from UC Davis, blood/cancer doc from UCSF. They have different license numbers. Who do you want? I know both from experience.

I would like to caution all patients from going to Dr. Raymond Lee for his services. He's very disrespectful and rude and does not care for his patience. He has a big ego and could not accept that people like to get second opinion for their own peace of mind. He doesn't listen to his patients and treats his patients like children when asking simple questions about their diagnosis. I know he caters to people who don't speak English so they can't ask him questions or perform due diligence on their treatment plans. Patients beware...if you can...go somewhere else.... if you have to settle go on ahead.

Dr. Lee has been our doctor for years and my husband and myself are very happy with him and his staff. He is very busy and makes the time to see us when an emergency arises or if we have questions.

The staff was friendly but not passionate. The wait was short. Doctor spent more than 30 minutes with me on my bleeding problem, and commented on other things during exam, such as diet and calcium. He explained to me well about ITP in plain words I could understand. He seems to enjoy his work.
