The most horrific experience in my life. I cant believe hes still able to practice medicine. I had to have a hysterectomy when i was 23 years old and he butchered me. Along with leaving forceps in my abdomen which caused me to have an emergency appendectomy 11 days post-op from my initial surgery. I would never ever see this Dr or his staff..

Dr. Lopez is an extremely caring and thorough doctor. I had vaginal spotting and pain in my pelvic area which Dr. Lopez diagnosed as an ectopic pregnancy after various tests, one that showed I had super low hCG levels. I was so elated at the thought of being pregnant but did not understand what it meant to have an ectopic pregnancy. Dr. Lopez took the time to explain what it meant and what were my options. Not only did he educated me with details, but also helped educate me by recommending other resources where I can learn more about my symptoms. He is very astute, realistic, caring, and treated me with respect. I followed his recommendations, and he was there every step of the way with me, and always available to see how I was doing. Today I have two very healthy children!

He saved my life-- finding a life-threatening condition is a pre-op workup. I will always be grateful!

Dr. Lopez found the reason for an extremely painful 30 years. I recommended a lot of his patients and would trust him with my life during surgery. He also birthed my granddaughter. And also helped me recognize my fibromyalgia and MS.

Horrible doctor!! Talks to you like a child and is so rude!!

My initial visit was to talk about getting put on a new type of birthcontrol, that was it. I had an over 2 hour wait because they had "opened late" and once I got to finally speak to the Doctor it seemed like one big sales pitch to be put on one type of medication or another. "Does you hair fall out when you brush it? ... may be depression" "Do you ever nap during the day? Hmmm, maybe a sleeping pill would help". All I wanted was a form of contraceptive. They eventually ordered me a form of birthcontrol that I was going to pick up on my next visit a few weeks later. I waited over an hour in the waiting room to be told it was "not ordered... opps..." I have since gone to another OBGYN and was told that behavior from a Doctor is not normal. I will never go back there.

Really he is the worse doctor i could have ever imagined. The staff is extremly short and he is extremly arrogant. Please stay away far away. I went there 3 times because i am a cash patient and each time i would try to tell him what was going on he just dissmissed me like i didnt know what i was talking about. Since then i have found another doctor who is simple amazing

I should have listened to the other reviews because I am sitting in his doctors office right now my daughters appt was at 9:30 it is now 11:30 and we have not been called back yet. We are sitting in the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever sat in, I can't imagine if I were pregnant having to sit in the old hard chairs. Anyway very upset so far will not be back!

THE OTHER COMMENTS ARE STAGED. IF YOU GO TO THIS DOCTOR YOU WILL BE PUTTING YOUR LIFE AT RISK FOR MORE THAN ONE REASON AT ONCE! WHY WOULD YOU RISK IT!HE DOES UNSAVORY THINGS THAT YOU WILL NOT EVEN REALIZE UNTIL IT IS TOO LATE

When I had Dr.Lopez as my OB, he was the absolute BEST! I advised everyone to go to him. I had 3 friends to take my advise and we all had the same great experience. Short wait time, friendly nurses, as well as the complete staff. I have 3 children. The last 2 he delivered and it didn't matter what time or what question I had,he'd call me right back. I never had to wait over 5min for him to return as call. He always put me at ease. During labor, he was wonderful and he expected the same wonderful bedside manner of his to be used by the nurses. He wouldn't stand for anyone being rude to me, my family, or friends.He helped in making everyone feel at ease!I hated when he moved from Athens but with baby 3 I followed him to Huntsville. After baby 1, being treated, well, not so well(being a 17yr old soon 2 be teen mom) I had to go where I knew I'd be treated with respect and if I worried, he always did whatever he could in his power to help me to not worry. I had the best experience with… Dr.Lopez as my doctor. I'm very thankful for having him for my doctor.
