Dr. Raymond W Mcallister, MD

Dr Mcallister is the best family doctor I have ever had. He takes the time to always listen to you, your concerns and I never feel rushed. His bedside manner is A+++ I cannot recommend him enough! He is very busy for a reason.....He doesn't brush you off and works with you to find out what is wrong and how best to help you. His staff are great and its a direct reflection of who he is and how much he cares.

Dr. McAllister was truly remarkable. He was incredibly cultured, more knowledgeable than most, and well-versed in other cultures. His ethics were beyond compare. He was friendly, kind, and possessed a strong and endearing personality. Patients felt as if they were in the hands of angels of mercy. I am at a loss for words to describe this extraordinary man.

The doctor is the best in the Norrh, south , east and west, without any doubt about that. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and very kind not racists. Always simile and give the patient hope in the life. Very educational person. If there is more than 5 stars I will give it to him.

Dr. McAllister is a great family physician. He is very thorough, knowledgeable, easy to talk with, and really cares about you as a patient.

Dr. McAllister is one of the most caring, exceptional Drs. that I have ever had. He can tell just by looking at you, what your problems are. I don't care what his personal problems are, he just needs to take care of his patients. Erie needs good Drs. and he is at the top!!

I don't care what a physician does as long as it doesn't interfere seeing his patients. He is Erie's smartest caring doctor. His patients shouldn't suffer his expertise for a ruling that sounds Ridiculous

I have been seeing Dr McAllister for almost 20 years and he listens!

I have been seeing Dr. Mcallister for over 15 years. I have felt I could trust him, he was knowledgable, and I felt he cared. Over the past year some things have changed in his practice. The staff has not been very pleasant. I have had a couple encounters of them being outright rude to me. I felt Dr. Mcallister was a good Dr. so I continued to go. Lately I have had to discuss with the staff answering the phone WHY I need to see someone for an appointment. I'm not sure that I like that. I was also looking to get my husband transferred from the VA to him, but not now. I have concerns about the staff and now I am questioning Dr. Mcallister's ability to assess my medical meeds. As of late it has not been accurate or good care. I feel sad and hope that things change because I know that he is a very intelligent and caring Dr. but things are not the way they used to be there. It is very difficult to get appointments and medications filled lately as well.
