Dr. Raymond Eugene Mclane, MD

I saw Dr. Mclane at the Lakewood Ranch Emergency Room. I was the only person there when I first checked in. Nobody was ahead of me. I thought great I will be in an out of here in no time. When Dr. Mclane came in to the exam room and asked what the problem was I told him I had an extremely painful sore and showed it to him. He spent about 1 minutes with me and looked at the sore. He was rude and abrupt. He said he would be back to treat it. Three hours later he returned to tell me the sore wasn't ready to be drained and he couldn't do anything. Could he not have told me that when he first looked at the sore? For three hours I had to stand waiting for him because I could not sit due to where the sore was located. I saw him sitting at a desk twice and even asked him if he forgot about me. He literally spent a total of 3 minutes doing nothing with me and I mean nothing. I asked him where I should go when it was ready to the drained and he couldn't answer my question. He wrote a… prescription for pain medication that I had to go to my pharmacy to fill. When I got there they couldn't fill it because he forgot to sign the form so a wasted trip to the pharmacy. The next day I had to return to the hospital and wait to get a signature on the prescription and go back to the pharmacy again. The sore that he couldn't do anything about ended up being an abscess and I had MRSA that took 2 months to get under control. The MRSA is gone however the abscess is still healing. Last week I got a bill for the services(lol) that Dr. Mclane provided (not including the hospital) just him for $876.00. Needless to say I will be fighting his charge!!!!

This is an ER physician who took care of my husband who came in with profound weakness and sepsis and Dr. McClane discharged him with a dx of slight flu. It took 6 employees to get him into the car and I could not get him out when we got home and I had to call the ambulance again to take him back to the ER. He had emergency surgery to put a stent in the ureter as he had a kidney stone blocking it and all the poisons had backed up into his system and he had sepsis and the doctor informed me that this was to be done as fast as possible and Denny may die. Dr. McClane missed the dx. by a country mile and my husband suffered because of it and almost lost his life.

I was having trouble breathing and Dr. McLane was very rude. He insulted my appearance and was not compassionate at all. If I have an emergency again I won't go to Blake because of him. If I could put a 0 star rating I would.

Docter McLane done reel gud with my kids when they had the hed lies real bad and he gave me some medicin for there heds an they got to go back to skool
