Dr. Raymond Ruenes, MD

Excellent doctor, very attentive!

Chose this doctor based on online reviews. Took out 2 week newborn for her first checkup and he was condescending, borderline rude. I'm a first time mom, I naturally had questions and was particularly concerned because my daughter was premature. He was pretty dismissive and didn't take his time with his answers. I know he's been at this for decades and the questions are nothing knew to him, but this is my first baby and its new to me! His bedside manner leave much to be desired. Never took my daughter there again.

This doctor treated both of my children who are now grown. He let them go there until age 18. My youngest son was Asthmatic and he gave him the best care. Will always trust this doctor to do what is right for his patient. Nice to speak to and he educates the parents.

We have zero doubt our son is receiving the best possible care. I first interviewed Ruenes when I was pregnant and gave me great advice as "new parent"....books to read, etc. My son has a few issues with sinuses infections and allergies and Ruenes has been great helping us achieve the best remedy for our son.

We love Dr. Ruenes. He was my pediatrician growing up as well. I was so thankful to find that he was still in town, still in practice and took my insurance. We wouldn't see anyone else ... EVER!!

Dr. Ruenes is so awesome my children really love going to him. He's very caring, patient and knows how to get to the level that makes my children comfortable and trust him. I know when he walks through the door my children are in good hands and he will find a way to make them better. He makes every effort to show he genuinely cares about them and remembers them. We have been going to him for over 6 years and we wouldn't change that; we live across town, but it's well worth the trip to have him care for my children.

Has a wonderful way with kids. He was instrumental in getting my asthmatic daughter to cooperate every time. He would pretend that he didn't see her in the room. She would pop out from behind a chair or from under the table. With his wonderful manner, he could draw blood without her squirming. We were grateful to him for the change in my daughter. He does not cave in to the insurance companies. He does not let them tell him how to treat his patients. He is to be admired for his professionalism.

Dr. Ruenes is wonderful. He was actually my pediatrician so I was so happy he was still in practice so I could take my daughter to him. He is very caring and I wouldn't trade him for any other doctor.
