When I first went to see Dr.Singer at his office in Lehigh Valley Hospital in May 2017 I knew I had a condition which required a complex surgery that was going to improve my quality of life....or with negative thoughts swirling around my head, could possibly take me away from the family that needed me, even though I always knew I needed them much more. But as soon as my wife and I took a seat in his office he had this air of confidence about him that was born of success. It was the confidence of a doctor who had performed this life or death procedure so many times and has emerged, along with his patients victorious with a survival rate so high in comparison to other doctors in the state performing same type surgeries, same age subjects, etc. His survival rate even nationwide is so superior in comparison that if you're lucky enough to get an appointment to speak with him, don't give it another ounce of worry. Schedule your surgery with Dr. Singer and experience the calmness he… provides. As you're booking your surgery with his secretary ask him for the paper showing you all the data you'll need to realize the right doctor for your surgery is standing right in front of you. A feeling of calmness will accompany you from that 1st meeting until your surgery date as you realize your life could not have been placed in more capable hands. When every single person "if sane"confronted with this type of surgery will question his or her own mortality, what more could a patient ask for than to have the best in the business fighting for them. One more thing. I did not have any insurance at time of surgery. I had been out of work and I don't know how, or when, or even if Dr. Singer ever got paid. He never mentioned finances and most amazingly Dr.Singer treated me with respect and dignity every step we took. That takes a special man indeed! Dr Raymond Singer is the best. The absolute best! It is hard to imagine a better surgeon than Dr. Singer. Not only does he possess and cultivate superior skills, he is extremely conscientious, hard-working, humble, and caring. He demands excellence for his patients and inspires confidence. I was completely at ease in his care. Great results. Great man.

Excellent bed-side manner. Really gave me his time to explain what the problem was and how he would correct.

Dr. Singer recently operated on a middle aged patient of mine who had an aortic dissection ( similar to what John Ritter had) that also tore into the patient's main heart valve (aortic). It was an emergency life-threatening event that required about 8 hours in the operating room. He fixed the aorta and completely repaired the patient's heart valve. Thanks to Dr.Singer's expertise the patient will not need an artificial valve and should have a normal life span. The surgery was done at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Muhlenberg where a sharp nurse noted a difference in blood pressure in the patient's arms and alerted the doctors. A top notch job overall.
