Dr. Raymond Charles Sweet, MD

I would not recommend this doctor to touch my dog or my worst enemy. He did my surgery in 2006 and it was so botched up. 3 weeks post-op he was fired from Presbyterian Hospital Associates and I had no doctor to turn to for post-op care I finally found a really good doctor in Charlotte who told me now that he's not working anymore maybe he would not have to go in and clean up his messes anymore. Beware of this doctor if you check he does not have very good ratings anywhere maybe two stars.. he left the Charlotte area in 2006

I was a Surgical Technologist in Charlotte, NC for 20 years. Dr Sweet is a gifted neurosurgeon and a wonderful human being. I recommend him highly!

I owe my life to Dr. Sweet literally. In 1987 I was in a car wreck and ended up with a blood clot on my brain. I was 18 when this happened. I just turned 53 last month! If there are any doubts in his ability, don't have any.

Operated on my neck for bulged disc and damaged my vocal cord. Had to have another operation on vocal cord, left me in more pain than when I had the operation. Please do not go to this dr. if you want to get better, he should not be practicing medicine!

This befuddled old man is a case of malpractice just waiting to happen--again! I would not let him work on my lawnmower. He would say that the engine was broken; when, in reality, it was just out of gas. He cannot diagnose a stubbed toe. DO NOT GO TO HIM IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME, MONEY, OR HEALTH!

Dr. Sweet did 2 surgeries on my lower back in 1991 & 1993, I have to give him the best rating I can because with all of the other comments from other dissatisfied patients, I have done good without any pain meds or physical therapy. He must have known what he was doing for me to make it this long without any flare up or needing more surgery.

Dr sweet was rude and totaly missdiagnosed my condition. He operated on a herniated disc and left me in such bad shape I had to have the surgery preformed by another Dr to fix what he had done wrong. He also left stitches in after surgery because he forgot to count them when he took them out and this caused an infection and large scar. He sent me for two milograms and an mri. I was told I only had one disc out when in fact I had three. He swore he did the surgery right even though I was in worse pain after surgery. My milogram showed the discs still out and I had lost feelingin my foot. Please look for a second opion before you let this man touch you. Wish I could give a negative star.

Dr. Sweet and his staff literally saved my mother's life. He was called to emergency surgery at 1130pm and worked many hours. His follow up care and continued concern have been spot on. God was truly working through Dr. Sweet!

If you have any type of head trauma or pain, don't make your condition worse by seeking care from Dr Sweet. He is not a good doctor.
