Third colonoscopy done with Dr. Thomas. First two fine. This time not given slumber. Colonoscopy so painful I was actually screaming. Nurse told me to shut up. When he met me after he said they gave me fentynal. That it wouldn't work if I took alot of pain killers. I take zero pain killers. Took pain killers for two weeks months ago for hip replacement not since. I was screaming in pain.

My visit with Dr. Thomas was great. He took his time and he listened to me. He took the time to explain things to me. I have looked all over 3 counties to find a good GI doctor. And I have finally found my doctor! Thank you Dr. Thomas!!!

My experience was utterly professional and exactly as described. I arrived at the UR/Thompson Ambulatory wing and was called in at exactly the scheduled time. The nurses answered every question and quelled my initial fears about the procedure. Dr Thomas is easy-going and a true professional. Within days of the test I received papers describing the details of my test.

Do Not call if you have an infection on or near your stoma. I tried and was told they could not get me in for over three weeks, to go to my primary or ER. They claim their goal is to provide a high standard of care, but I think not. I did like this doctor years ago, but now they don't seem to have time. I found out I was in fact infected, put on antibiotics, and will now need to travel to Rochester General to be evaluated for surgery. DO NOT CALL IF YOU THINK OR KNOW YOU HAVE AN INFECTION.

Too much pain afterwards and sluggishness ...never had that before and I have had several colonoscopy procedures....I would not go back again.....didn't like the drug used to put me under...way too long acting and too much down time afterwards...I would give some other GI doc a chance as he is way too busy.....

It was more expensive then other Doctors, My wife had a EGD, one month after mine by another DR., and her cost was half the cost of procedure, I had to pay. Also I received no photos or paper work for procedure. My wife received photos & results for her records.
