Dr. Raymond Philip Weiss, MD

I've been a patient for almost 20 years. Staff has become rude and no one has answered the phone in about 2 years. And as stated by others its a good day if someone returns your call the same week. I hate to leave because he's a great dr but the idiots that work for him are going to be his undoing.

Often difficult to get an appt. Front desk only takes messages and may only call back a day or two latter. Sees people closer to arrival than any of the other 8 doctors I have seen in the last year. Seems very well informed about new medications, often changing mine based on current research -e.g. statins. Listens to my needs; doesn't appear rushed, like more physicians. Suggests other specialists he knows. Handy blood lab next door. Takes the time to call me at home with test results or to follow up. Great assistant - Gloria - positive and halful.

I have had a horrible experience with this physician and the office receptionist . One one occasion, I called to schedule an appointment and the receptionist never contacted my back once my message was left. Furthermore, I recently contacted the office to be seen as soon as possible and I was told they were booked for the next week. I asked if the doctor could contact me and Dr. Wiess was very unprofessional very sarcastic stating his nursing should be notified what is exactly wrong with me to get an appointment ASAP. He also stated, " I need to know if you are dying or not"!!! Really. I found this to be extremely insulting and unprofessional. If I was dying would I call his doctors office . My husband and I have Very good medical insurance and do not have to desk with this unprofessional, inconsiderate practice!!! I absolutely DO NOT recommend him!!!!!

This doctor should not be practicing. He has no concern for his patients and he is so ignorant and just plan rude. My family has gone to him for years and finally we just change our primary physician. I'm so happy we did our new doctor is great. He actually cares about our health answers all our questions and concerns. That is something Raymond would never do.

After being misdiagnosed by another doctor, I went to see Dr. Weiss. He was extremely thorough, ordered an MRI that showed a problem and send me to an orthopedic surgeon. After two and a half years of being in pain, I finally had surgery to correct the problem. I was so pleased with Dr. Weiss, that he is still my doctor to this day. He is absolutely wonderful. He is always on time - a rarity for a doctor. I have never - not once - had to wait. (I wish that "0" was an option for the "The wait time at the office was about" star rating, but since it is not, I had to select 5 minutes, which is inaccurate.) He is always thorough, has a great demeanor. I could not wish for a better doctor. He's the BEST!!!

Dr. Weiss is a good and caring doctor. I went to him as a new patient in Mar 2010. My husband has been going to him since 2006. Dr. Weiss took the time to review my previous medical history and acted like he cared about my overall health. I did not feel rushed. His nurse or the doctor ALWAYS calls about any and all test results or prescription changes/questions.
