Dr. Raymond Joseph Winfield JR., MD

I had scheduled an appointment for 2 PM on a Wednesday. They called me on Christmas Eve, to reschedule without my consent. I get there for my appointment, I was there for an hour without being seen, all while the staff are socializing. Plus, they had a sign that said if you are sick to reschedule your appointment, yet they are receptionist was coughing the entire time I was there.

Dr. Winfield is very patient, caring, compassionate and very knowledgeable in his field. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Very caring doctor, though as others have mentioned his staff can get rather hectic so you might have a wait on your hands for your appointment time. If you do not mind a wait he is well worth it. I've been seeing the doctor for a few years and appreciate his bedside manner, his knowledge and his sense of compassion.

Got an appt. pretty quick. but the wait to see the Dr. was long. Dr. didn't know if he was coming or going, running in and out of rooms. Staff was no better, no one was on the same page. Found a new Dr. that actually took the time with my issues.

I waited for over an hour for his imcompetent staff to get my file. After having tests done and calling the office for results, I had to wait 5 days until they could locate the information. Nice doctor, horrible staff.

-I was told that the laser procedure to remove my kidney stone would not be uncomfortable and that the stent I would have for 7-10 days afterward would hardly be noticeable. The procedure was not to bad, was VERY sore for the first 30-40 hours afterward. The stent was more painful that the kidney stone attacks, initially comparable to labor contractions. Thanks for the heads up Doc.-Post procedure, Dr. Winfield would not return my phone calls as of now for 4 days. Would like to have procedure completed (stent removal).-Dr. Winfield and his office will not be recommended to anyone that I care about.
