Dr. Rebbecca L Hertel, DO

Dr. Hertel has been my primary care doctor for years and I am extremely confident in her abilities. Dr. Hertel is serious about the wellbeing of her patients.

She has two personalities: fake smiles and niceties or extremely condescending. Misdiagnosed me and office kept telling me to just go to ER rather than be seen in office. Referred me to Physical Therapy… to Hertel and Brown. Later, I told her that I wasn’t happy that I never saw a Physical Therapist, only a student, while I was there and she just brushed it off. I know another mother with twins (not identical) that her office mixed up their paperwork, when the one twin had a very serious diagnosis. Do not recommend.

Not a big fan of her. The office visits always feel rushed. The one thing that bothered me the most was when the nurse was in the room getting info and vitals she walked in during it and started the visit and the nurse said “oh...I’ll come back and finish after the visit.” I feel like that’s very rude to not only the nurse but also the patient.

This doctor is more of a look pretty fake. She doesn’t make any diagnosis just refers you to specialists.

Went to see her for help with my fibromyalgia and was shocked at the way she was dressed (dressed like she was going out partying for the night) asked for increase on a particular med and she stated she felt uncomfortable doing that! But she did send me for physical therapy (of course hertel & brown) thought it would be for my fibromyalgia (since it was the cause of most of my pain!) but nope it was for my back pain! Would not reccomend to anyone and yes found a way BETTER doctor at Dr. Grisier's office (Dr. Dakan!!)

urgent care diagnosed bronchitis. office staff would not schedule re exam. i went back to urgent care 2 more times because i wasn't getting better. office staff still did not think i needed to be seen. i ended up in er with pneumonia. 5 days bed rest. no hospital admittance because my O2 level was 96 and I live with other adults to help out. thanks alot guys. I have switched doctors and hospitals.

Dresses like a Barbie doll (red stilettos) ; patronizing and has NO clue how to establish common ground; outright rude when I was late ONE time by three minutes. Good for Rx-ing OTC's. Why bother? Sent for physical therapy (guess where?) Hertel and Brown for a condition that required surgery.
