She makes sure that the parents fully understand what is happening with their child. Sad she is no longer in NH.

Dr Alvarez-Altalef was the doctor who saw my child and suggested testing including chromosome testing. Sure enough the chromosome test showed abnormalities. Dr Alvarez Altalef is kind, caring and very smart!

Dr. Alvarez has been the best pedi-Neurologist I have had the pleasure to have as my child's doctor. Where other doctors dismissed my son's onset of migraines at an early age, Dr. Alvarez did not, but rather sent him for an MRI where it was found that he had some brain anomalies. Dr. Alvarez truly cares about her patients and the time needed with the children. The hospital that has the privelage to have her on their staff truly has an ace in the hole.

My nephew has spent a lot of time with various pediatric neurologists in his life, so when it was our turn to find one, I was a bit apprehensive...mostly due to the fact that he has seen more than one who was difficult to work with. As a speech-language pathologist, I have also worked with several neurologists. I have been absolutely DELIGHTED with the care Dr. A has given my daughter, the way she has communicated with me as a parent, and her obvious intelligence and knowledge of her specialty. I cannot speak highly enough of her skills, and my daughter feels safe in her hands.

Dr. Alvarez-Altalef's bed side manner need's work. She is rude, opionated, and generally an overall nasty person. She makes conclusions without all the evidence.
