Dr. Rebecca I. Bay, MD

I’ve been seeing Dr. Bay for over a decade and am so happy to have found her! She literally saved my life and can’t thank her enough. She has a wealth of knowledge treating patients, especially those w/treatment resistant depression and anxiety. She patiently listens to my concerns and questions and has always given me excellent care and advice, plus, I never feel rushed during my appointments. She’s also incredibly kind and caring - someone who I wish was my sister, aunt, mother, etc.

At first my kiddo was happy with Erinn King but then, after gaining trust and a relationship (it was verbal therapy) she was suddenly dropped... There was NO communication that Erinn was 'no longer with them' & the 1st appointment with Dr. Bay was awful - ENTIRELY focussed on the client abandonment & unprofessional, irresponsible lack of mindful transition. What progress that had been made was SHATTERED. AVOID BINNACLE & DR. BAY!

Dr Bay has helped me through the impact of traumatic job loss, chronic illness and ptsd. She helped me compose appeals for disability, and find all the resources I needed to face this - medically, legally and psychologically. I have had depression and anxiety for decades, but my meds were no longer effective, and she immediately took me off some that weren’t appropriate, added one, and that helped a lot. I see her once a month now, and look forward to our appointments. Dr Bay is amazingly kind and I highly recommend her.

I read some of the other comments. I saw her a few times. Each time it was like the first time. Records were never obtained. Dr. Bay does hide behind her computer with no eye contact. When I inquired about something I read on the Computer (being proactive in my treatment), she really got defensive. That was enough for me to ask for another dr. About the office, no one answers the phone...ever. If I want to cancel an appointment with proper notice, how is one to do that? Communication in the office could be greatly improved.

I wish I had come here (yelp) first to check the bad reviews. The place needs urgent upgrade - from the outdated waiting room (do not expect too much privacy if are concerned about it) to the billing department (there was always something wrong with my bill). It is not a quite place because you have all these noisy canceling machines going on. I felt no connection with Dr. Bay. I felt that she used her laptop as a shield in between us - minimum eye contact. It seems she works well with some patients. It didn't work for me. In her defense: I was very depressed and suffering from PTSD and who knows what else. The rest of the staff and counselors are nice and polite. Front desk attendant also check vitals (?first time I saw this happening in the Eastside). Good lucky.

Unavailable when I needed her, didn't seem to listen to my complaints or problems, seemed to just want her way and was inflexible

Dr. Rebecca Bay is wonderful! She's by far the best Psychiatrist around and I'm very thankful I found someone so caring and professional. She's extremely knowledgeable at what she does and 100 % devoted to giving her patients the highest quality of care. She's not the kind of Psychiatrist who will put you on a bunch of unnecessary drugs, she will get to the root of the problem and quickly because she's just that amazing! I cannot say enough great things about Dr.Rebecca Bay!

Dr. Bay is a caring and sharing individual. I am very happy that I am seeing her.

Dr. Bay has been working with me for over a year. Iâ??ve found her to be professional, caring and very interested in my wellbeing. I wouldnâ??t be alive today if it were not for her knowledge and persistent desire to help me improve. She has helped me with my mental health and addiction, a very versatile doctor. I am blessed to have her in my life.
