Dr. Rebecca Leigh Chain, MD

My primary care doctor suggested Dr. Rebecca Chain for a skin condition and she and the staff have been very good to me. She explains conditions well and is very caring during the appointment. Absolutely would recommend Dr. Chain to everyone.

I have seen this provider for several years. During that time, I was prescribed medications from her. She did refer me to another specialist but after taking time to think things through, we decided it was not the best option for me. It was my understanding that she would continue the regimen I have been on until one day I received a call stating that that office and Dr. Chain do not treat patients with my diagnosis. I found this unusual and asked if she could at least give me a week worth until I can get in to see a physician that is willing to work with me. I was told “no” flat out. This is concerning to me because I am at a high risk of having a medical outbreak, completely out of my medication (that I have been on for 15 years+) and the office seemingly could care less. They just said I needed to see immunology which was already addressed and Dr. Chain and I had both agreed it was not a good idea to initiate that treatment. I absolutely would not recommend this office or care team.… So sad and bitterly disappointed in the lack of communication and the bizarre conclusion that Dr. Chain decided after all these years she wasn’t comfortable treating me. I have basically been blindsided. If this were the case then I believe that should have been stated upfront. Dr. Chain and her medical assistants have not mentioned once to me that I would not be able to receive the medication I needed. I would advise potential and current patients to have a back up plan just in case something like this should happen to them. As someone who works in the medical field themself, I would never allow anything like this to happen to a patient.

Dr. Chain had been an excellent dermatologist for my family. We have been seeing her for a few years now. She takes time with us like we are the only patient she will see that day. She has also utilized cutting edge therapies that have been enormously effective. We couldn’t be happier with Dr. Chain.

I have seen her in the last 2 years since I moved to kansas. She is truly the best among many providers I have seen. Having spent all my life battling cystic acne, I have numerous derma consults and services from many different dermatologist from different placed I've lived. None can measure up to her service and work. She is truly an amazing Dermatologist, the only one who was able to help me and address my problems and needs. She is always beaming with smile, and she really listens to her patients. She was the only one I trusted with Accutane therapy, now over a year and so far my skin has been free of acne after 42 years (26 years of it I was afflicted withcystic acne). I cannot thank her enough and I really, absolutely recommend her! I have so much respect for her dedication and professionalism!!

I went to see Dr. Chain this afternoon. She was knowledgeable, friendly, informative and very good at what she does. I had two unsightly moles removed. I was nervous about going - it was my first time seeing a dermatologist. I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you Dr. Chain!
