Dr. Rebecca Lynn Foster, DO

Caveat emptor. Dr Foster does not listen to her patients. I’ve been telling her for 2 years my stomach hurt and she has never even prescribed a med or ordered a test. Recently I got the flu or COVID and was very sick for over a week. Feverish and vomiting for several days. Went in to see her and she would not help me. Argued with me about the flavor of a medicine, called out a weird prescription nobody carried, and refused to give me IV fluids, even though I couldn’t rehydrate on my own and was weak and nauseated. I tried to switch to another doctor and they don’t allow that at Hillside Medical, much to my surprise and dismay. Just know if you ever go to Hillside Medical you have absolutely no say and the doctors can do WHATEVER they want without any accountability or oversight. I am sad and disillusioned, but mostly I am hurt that the practice I’ve gone to for 35 years would shun me like this, for simply losing confidence in a doctor’s treatment.

Honestly, the most sincerely caring and informed physician I’ve ever had-and I’ve been to and know many. I was raised by doctors; this, developed a somewhat cynical perception. Dr. Foster provides a thorough explanation of options and consequences so you can make informed decisions. She has also been available to see me sooner than past docs. Looking forward to having my daughter transition to her. She her time to answer all my questions. Highly recommended!

Dr. Foster is very caring and quite intelligent. What everyone likes in a doctor.
