I saw Dr. Frakes fairly often when she was in the Nashville area and she was WONDERFUL, kind and attentive. If she was still here, I'd still be seeing her.

The appointment was fine. I called to request a higher dose of nicotine patches (which were her idea, not mine) and got resistance. I explained my smoking behavior, and that maybe I didn't describe it well enough before, but she still relayed, through her assistant, that I was mistaken but she'll go ahead and up the dose. Just up the dose. Why do you have to assert that you believe I'm wrong? I'm not. You're just not listening. I just want a doctor to believe me.

She seemed alright at the appointment, but when I called asking for a higher dose of nicotine patches after explaining my smoking behavior, she proceeded to tell her assistant that, basically, I was still wrong, but she'd go ahead. I just want a doctor to listen to me and believe me.
