Dr. Rebecca Rain Jackson, DO

my 69y.o. mom was walking, talking, dressing, brushing her teeth after every meal.i would take mom out everyday to go on walks,out to dinner etc...mom fell and fractured her pubic bone on jan9. I had her up and walking in the ER before her being admitted to centre ave under Dr Rebecca Jackson for rehab. My mom has dementia and had a nueropshychiatric reaction to being moved from place to place when she was admitted to centre ave.JACKSON upon admission abruptly discontinued her SSRI she had been on for months and put mom on a cocktail of benzodiazepines,opiates and anti pshycotics with a black box warning stating an increased risk of mortality of 200% after exposure. They told me at centre if I didn't consent to these drugs, mom couldn't stay there. My mom was drugged out of her mind and was to mentally disabled by the drugs to get out of bed. So much she fell on her face out of the bed w no bed rails or mat to cushion her fall. I made many requests for JACKSON to call me to .discuss… mom tx. over a 25 day period. JACKSON professionally neglected to call me for 25 days until I said I would contact her through the state medical board. Then she called me making weak unprofessional excuses as why she neglected to return my calls to discuss my moms tx for almost 4 WEEKS!!!!So I talked w her one time the day mom was admitted and recklessly drugged and then once more after 25 days of seeing my mom drugged out of her mind.. After 4 weeks mom was finally weighed for the first time at centre ave and she lost 17 pounds in 30 days while under JACKSONS care. Centre never got mom up and walking a single time. Centr ave then said she isn't going to live much longer and to call hospice in while I paid centre $350 dollars a day for rent and JACKSON wouldn't take mom off all the drugs. I called the hospital and had mom admitted to the ER that day. There the Drs concurred mom had been heavily overmedicated and recklessly taken off her SSRI by DR REBECCA RAIN JACKSON. After the centre ave episode Mom stayed in the hospital for 30 days detoxing off ALL the drugs JACKSON RAINED on my mom. I also was contacted by human health and services stating they had gotten complaints about moms tx while at centre ave under JACKSON. They couldn't tell me much other than they had gotten complaints but gave me a list of malpractice firms to call. My mom hasn't walked since centre ave and is seriously mentally and physically disabled by the drugs JACKSON exposed mom to. Much more so than prior to exposure to JACKSON. Also while mom was at centre ave. their nurse called wanting to shave my moms head because they neglected her hair for so long it was a gaint ball of tangled knots. I said no way. As soon as she was out of centre ave the new facility has combed her knots out and keeps her hair well groomed. Mom is in a better place now that she is away from centre ave under JACKSON.
